Why do fans disrespect boxers so easily?

If any of these bashers were to step into a ring just for 1 round and feel the pain and agony that comes along with it I guarantee u their outlook on the sport will change. Boxing is brutal, very brutal. I've spent about 10 years training on and off 9 amateur fights went 6-3. (159lb) Last kid I fought at Passaic Athletic league (pal) in north jersey whooped my @$$ so hard. Most brutal thing I've ever done. I thought oh yeah I can go pro, I got this. The way I interpret that stuff is that it's mostly directed at the fans of the fighters being attacked.

I've been a fan of boxing forever, especially Roy Jones, but I'm not going to front, I don't remember the Roycott! :lol1: Excellent post though. Back in the day there were a large number of Roy Jones haters (very similar to the floyd haters) that tried to boycott his PPV vs Eric Harding because they wanted him to travel to GERMANY and fight Dariusz Michalsweski.
