...just because these promoters/managers etc. eventually dont come to a simple conclusion...
There are hundreds of journalists or reporters that running around that talk/interview Canelo & staff, Mayweather & staff and Schaefer + Hoya...so is it so hard to just tell them to suggest a same day weigh in or a clause that says that Canelo cant weight over 160 at fight night? This would be the perfect conclusion to this weightproblem...Mayweather Sr. said that the main problem is that Canelo weighs in over 170 @ fight night...with a same day weight in or that clause that wont happen so he & TMT can relax...
Haymon, Hoya, Schaefer & May are so called "smart businessmans" so they should come to that by themselves but it dont make the impression that they really think about it (okay we dont know cause wo only heard that guy from Canelo & May Sr. talk about it)
Canelo @ 147 would just be unacceptable with all due to respect and him coming down to that weight just cant be the only option...this would be totally BS...i mean May Sr. said he demanded that and he isnt the smartest guy in the decisionsarea if its not about boxing/training so we can just hope that the other guys wo really make the fight are smarter about that.
What do you guys think? Do you also got the fear that the people at the negoations are to stupid to make the fight happen with some simple solutions? Cause there is a loooot of money involved and this weight problem isnt (or shouldnt) be that significant like the GB/TR & drug testing issue a few years ago!

You guys always do the same **** when it comes to Floyd. Can we at least let the negotiations play out before you start taking sides? All this **** over a trainers interview? If it was Roger or Sr you'd be calling them crackheads and disregarding everything. You guys are like little kids that cant wait to blow their loads. Anything to drop Mayweathers name. Bunch of *****es all of you guys.
They are jealous and they like to elect mercenaries. Oscar, Hatton, Pacquiao and now this ginger from Mexico.
I 100% believe had Canelo's hair been like his brother's he'd be a club fighter. A real shame for the Mexican people who should be proud on how they look. I guess their brains were washed or something. Anyway fk the ginger for being a coward and picking on smaller men consistently.
Canelo has fought a couple of small guys in his career having all the advantages. Look at his resume, it's full of small guys : Lopez, Ndou, Hatton, Mosley, Baldomir just to mention a few, these guys ranged from 135lbs to 147lbs. He's the one who has something to prove and not Mayweather. When Mayweather wanted to fight Dela Hoya he went to 154lbs. When he wanted to fight Shamba Mitchell he went to 147lbs. When Roy Jones wanted to fight John Ruiz he went to heavyweight then went down for the likes of Antonio Tarver. Chad Dawson went down for Andre Ward and I do not see why canelo can not go down to 147lbs if he wants this fight. Sugar Shane Mosley used to fight at 154lbs and he went down to 147lbs for Manny pacquiao and Mayweather.
Zab Judah fought Ryan Davis at 154lbs then went down to 140lbs. This is boxing where it is really unfair to have a 170lbs fighter fighting a 147lbs fighter. If he wants to fight Floyd then he should stop eating all the food and come down to 147lbs and not rehydrate to 170lbs after the weigh in.
If Canelo cant make weight then sorry, he should fight Andre Ward.
This, this and this. Canelo is the one wanting to get to that gold. He's HUGE. He should be asking Ward for a fight if he was any brave but instead he's been picking on the smaller man all his career.
All Floyd is saying is "Want to fight the smaller man? Become his size. See how you like that."
man fck all the bullshlt.Make the fight at 154 where both these dudes
have titles.Fck the catchweights or rehydration clause or whatever.
Yall floyd fans need to stop making excuses for floyd.

I thought whenever Mayweather fights somebody, he wants them to be comfortable?
At least that's what he said about Cotto.
I think a rehydration clause would fix all this, but then I remembered he said that
What's funny is that Mayweather flat out saying, "I am not fighting Canelo," wouldn't get half the heat he'll get if he insists this fight should be at 147. Now we can pull up every quote about catchweights and comfortable weights he's ever said.

Don't be putting words in Mayweathers mouth lol
See i wanna believe mayweather but the more he does these things the more i believe pacquiao. If hes gunna fight the dude fight him if he not then dont.
Floyd likes to boast about how he handled a bloated up JMM and regards that as one of his greatest wins. So imagine how much he could boast and gloat if he fought Canelo at 154 and let Canelo come in at 170 fight night!
It would make Floyd and his fans so happy to beat a comfortable Canelo. Dont be scared now Floyd, and dont keep thinking about short term gain ie winning, rather than long term gain ie legacy.
