when we think of khan the first thing that comes to mind is his biscuit chin/eggshell jaw
leading up to the prescott fight he had been dropped before by some fighters though he probably payed off boxrec to not show them statistics
moving on
khan fought prescott in 2008 in september, this was the 9th month of the islamic calender meaning khan was fasting for ramadan not to mention he had to make 135lbs his chin was probably drained so bad it was probably why he got his ass rocked by a jab.
he then fought danny garcia in july 2012 which was also ramadan which is why his v2.1 neck could hold up. he was obviously drained (one of his many excuses)
his fight with diaz was at a catchweight of 143lbs which suggests khan is having trouble getting to 140 now and will have to fight at 147 though he knows if he goes there his career is over as soon as he steps up
even his v3.0 neck wouldn't be able to hold up against guys like guerrero, thurman, ortiz etc i bet they try and bang him in with berto and ruin his career heck maybe even "onepuncharound" randall bailey might catch him too.
i believe his chin will obstruct him from doing anything at 147, though he should be proud that he is a two time world champion and a olympic medalist. begs i dont get banned for this lol
While I don't think Berto's chin is quite as bad as Khan's I think its pretty bad as well. He just takes a knee instead of wobbling around and galloping like a fool.
Is Linares at the elite level?
Well it's a British thing.
Khan, Harrison and Enzo have all been knocked out by a stiff breeze and David Haye has been on his ass from a super middleweight.
Starting to think Carl Froch is an alien whose ship just crash landed there because he doesn't fit the bill of overly entitled, spoiled, china chin punk with a padded up record like every other British fighter.
Khan is like a finesse, fast break basketball team. They look elite when other teams wanna run with them, but when they come across a half court team who wants to bang and get rough they don't know what to do except crumble into pieces.
lol the only thing elite about Khan is his heart. His speed is alright too, but he's one of the dumbest boxers in the game. He should protect his weak chin like Rigo and not take risks, but he can't resist being drawn into exchanges.
Klitschko has one of the worst as well. Not as bad as khans but bad.
Actually heavyweight boxing is known for spectacular ko's. Not many heavyweights can take the Punishment Holyfield could.

That little gallop Khan does when he gets rocked makes me laugh every time.
Haha. At about 43:30 he says "that shows I got a good chin", commenting on getting knocked down and coming back to win.
maidana hit khan so hard he thought his chin was great.
I think was sort of like in MMA where a guy is getting ground and pounded on the mat, where he gets punched in the face and KO'd, then the next punch to the head wakes him back up.
Maidana hit Khan so hard he got KO'd and awakened with the very same punch, as if nothing really happened. This occured on multiple occasions throughout the fight.
worst fundamentals.... by far..... strange considering he was a decorated amateur... but he still can't box for ****....
poor fundamentals + poor chin = you're gettin' knocked out
well he was near elite, he has one of the worst chins in boxing general, other fighters who get ko is because they are slow, not enough experience, or just bad defense
Khan has speed, experience n a decent defense, but as soon as he gets touched hes out lol
