I can't believe too many boxing fans fall for this when they asked the catchweight (is this confirmed?). I think all this cathweight BS is just to hype up Canelo - to let the casual fans believe that Canelo is really that great and is the one to beat him. And when this CW talk reach to the sky, Money team will drop CW request, fight signed, too many people believe his 0 will go and .... 2mil PPV :D Then Jr UD him 11-1. IMO, there's no way Canelo will beat Mayweather now. Aside from his size, I can't see any other advantage for Canelo. If he can dominate Cotto, Lara and Trout (rematch), II'll gve him 40% chance. Dude, Floyd is fighting Alexander next and Cotto is fighting Canelo. All they are doing is letting Canelo build up his rep a little more so he can demand more money. I honestly think he will end up fighting Pac instead of Canelo and it'll be the last fight of their careers.

LMFAO did Floyd fight anyone of them at the time? no he waited till everyone got shot and old because unlike him they were fighting real fights not the guerreros of the world LOL. Fighting real fights? Why didn't none of those "real fight" experiences help them against Floyd?

Why is every stupid thing Floyd does, explained as a marketing tactic or promotion by his fans? I'm not totally a May fan, but a fan of his boxing skills. It's my opinion that it just a promotion because I believe that Canelo have no chance of beating him. Now, If I believe that Canelo's the one, then I'll be on the "May is scared" bandwagon.

I think if Pac is with Golden Boy, they probably have rematches now. Even after the testing debacle was settled Floyd came right back with another roadblock. "Pac gets no ppv revenue. I'll pay him a flat fee and I keep the rest" . LOL. You can say that Pac turned down the biggest payday of his career but so did Floyd.

you theory is invalid ... it might be valid if for example the pac fight had actually happened but it didn't i.e. the ducking and stupid demands that we hear floyd making are real not P.R to hype the fight/opponent I think if Pac is with Golden Boy, they probably have rematches now.

i really dont see why people are hyping canelo up to beat floyd i understand the kid is good but i saw him live with my own 2 eyes hes nothing special as of yet. also people also act as if cotto is a natural 154 lber when bringing up the canelo weight difference its not the same folks. maybe floyd should have a rehydration clause when and if they fight. if he has 5 more fights as he states then wait until all the fights are done b4 u all start yelling duck the man just had a fight 2 weeks ago calm down:wave:

I wish I could be optimistic about that, but I watched how the Mosley build up played out, it started as he wouldn't dare fight this monster, to the well he signed but he will pull out there is no way it will go through I will respect him if he actually sets foot in the ring, to round 2 when people thought Mosley had something to offer then to round 4 and beyond when he became gun shy Grandpa Mosley. Now that wasn't everyone, but I would say a vast majority of a certain sect of forumites played it exactly that way~

This will will never happen. Floyd will "retire" before he fights canelo at 154. He will fight garcia in sept. Canelo will fight cotto Then Floyd will disappear for awhile till Canelo moves to 160...
