pavlik got dropped like 4 times i think, but yeah like the guy above said he never got outslugged, he was too big and powerfull. abraham mainly enjoyed succes because he fought subpar opposition, even miranda gave him a run for his money in their first fight
I looked at the thread again and it also asks about Abraham. I like GGG. to win that fight also by ud. or KO. I pick GGG over every 160 pounder, Canelo over every 154 pounder, Mayweather over every 147 pounder and Matthysse over every 140 pounder. Nobody needs to agree with me but that's what I think and only one of them losing a fight would change my mind.
I would pick GGG. by KO. I think he is a better all around fighter with a better chin and more dedication to boxing. Sometime in the fight he would hurt him and unlike Taylor he would finish him.
Pavlik........
As of right now? Pavlik for sure. GGG hasn't shown enough against top opposition yet. WHY bet against Pavlik with the power and stamina he had? You guys get too wrapped up in who's good right now before they've had time to prove how good they are or not.

double and triple that f#ckin jab!
And god help Pavlik if he happens to get cut. He'd be drowning in his own blood by the time that corner is through with him.
Lol u've never seen Abraham fight to make a statement like that
Only his fight against Dirrell. :lol1:
Not a big fan of that whole, overseas, SMW scene. The only SMW I really watch is Froch, Ward, Watched a few Kessler fights, and Dirrell.
OK OK, GGG beats him.
chins and power.
we'd figure out who had the better beard.
golovkins right hand is mean up close, but kelly's was just as mean from far away.
it would be an easy FOTY candidate. expect glolovkin to use the ring, because he can, and win the fight by being the more technical and classier boxer / puncher.
I know, but I think Abraham is just a cleaner boxer, and has some wrinkles to his game that GGG doesn't.

For real? Abe has no craft, 0. He boxes by the numbers Wegner style, but even Huck is less mechanical. He was a domestic level amateur, GGG was outpointing guys like Dirrell over 3 rounds with headgear
Abraham is a better, cleaner boxer than GGG. I love GGG, so don't make me talk **** about him. Conversation ended.

Both would be easy for Golovkin to find, with his swarming style I think you'd need decent movement and good legs to have a good chance against GGG, neither Pav or Abe do.
Pavlik is long and could perhaps try keep him on the end of his jab and land rights but I don't think he holds Golovkin off and Abe would get swarmed during his early inactive rounds and never find a way back
Abraham has the power but he shells up for the first half of the fight and starts way too slow. GGG would already have put it on him by that point.
Very true....
