I know the majority of people on here don't like him but I for one do, I enjoy watching the kid fight he's exciting and unpredictable. He's already had some great fights, hopefully he can come back and get back into the mix at 147 because I think he's got the talent to be in the 5 at the weight.
Anyhow, who should he fight on his comeback?
I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Guerrero, it would be a tough fight but I think Ortiz could give him problems with his speed and fast footwork.
Malignaggi would have been the perfect comeback fight, get to rip a guys head off and a free championship lol.
Some of you guys are underestimating him. I think he beats everyone he lost to in a rematch (except floyd most likely) and Thurman and probaby Guerrero
1 Guerrero/Ortiz
----------------------------------------------------------1 vs. 2 or 3
2 Thurman/Chaves
------------------------------2 vs. 3
3 Maidana/Lopez

A giant sequoia tree. It'd be dubbed "Battle of the Bark: Oak vs. Sequoia, only one may rule the forest"
If i am ortiz's manager i pick very carefully my next fight. I would look at cano/mosley winner. then try to land broner/paulie winner. I would stay away from any bangers like maidana or soto karass, and even guerrero. Oritz is only one solid win away from landing floyd rematch. Floyd would love that cherrypick and if ortiz coming off dancingwithstars and one win over a name guy, floyd would pick him for may 2014 Berto rematch will always sell so i only go that route down the road
As a fan i would love to see ortiz/khan or cotto ortiz
He should fight the winner of Madiana/Lopez. Winning that fight would put him back on track.
Funny cause those are the 2 guys who made him quit. :lol1:

I actually think Victor would beat him, I do think Thurman is a very good boxer but I still think he'd do him...
Ortiz technically better gifted in boxing department just his heart is the only question but If he was up for it like he was with Berto I think he'd claw a decision.
This is Ortiz we're talking about here. vs Berto...
I don't have faith in Ortiz anymore.
