You knew it was a mismatch.
You know how Floyd fights and how all his fights end
Why the f*ck did you buy it?
Why the f*ck you complaining?
Its like seeing a trailer for a movie you're not intrerested in, paying for a ticket, and complaining about it after.
Ive paid to watch 4 of his fights: DLH, Hatton, Cotto, and Guerrero ($20 at theater) and Ive not been disappointed. I prefer boxing over brawling and Mayweather is the best since Whittaker at that.
I streamed it and I want my bandwith back
I've seen better sparring matches
All the other fights were good tho
I streamed it as well and quickly put me to sleep. I never had a good rest since I streamed the Baldomir fight.
Thank you, Floyd!
I think it's a little hypocritical, but also understandable.
Rigo was a relatively big underdog to Donaire.
Floyd was a huge favorite.'
And even though i'm a big fan of both Wlad and Floyd i think they deserve the same criticism.
They are good enough to absolutely run over their opponents. Especially in the later rounds when they offer almost no offensive output.
Wlad could put people in bodybags, but wont due to it involving a risk. Same with Floyd.
I love defensive fighters, but i think they SHOULD take someone out when they can.
Lots of Wlad/Floyd fans seem to agree with this but ONLY when it's not about their fighter. But the situation is really the same.
If you actually love the sport of boxing and have the money, then how is it not worth the extra money if your well off to watch the best fighters in the world? I have to pitch in with my friends or stream to watch some big fights. But I love the sport all aspects besides John Ruiz/Carlos Molina style clinchers. I love watching Sweat Pea, Mayweather & SRR fights and highlights watching them disect opponents. Its like watching a 6-3 ending score of a football game where nothing but field goals were made. Like a Steelers vs Ravens game but its not any less exciting just because their was a lot of great defense.
Love how people will orgasm all over Rigo outpointing Donaire, yet when Mayweather fights the exact same fight against Guerrero they cry lol
I get what you saying bro but its about paying $70 for it. And seeing it happen over and over again. People gave Rigo props and said he's crazy skilled. Same goes for Floyd even though Rigo did it to a way better fighter but People won't pay $70 to see Rigo school guys that aren't even in considerstion of being on the pound for pound list.

I bought it because I know how his fights end, it's getting there to me which is enjoyable. I enjoy watching him do his thing in the ring and out think and embarrass opponents. There is usually a pretty good undercard and this one delivered well. It's also a fight you can get a lot of casuals together to watch and enjoy with you, because everyone and their mom knows Floyd. I think this might have been directed towards people who are complaining about the fight after buying it though.
I would only pay a ridiculous $70 for a true superfight.
I can't believe americans are willing to get screwed like this when most other countries get the fights for free. The PPV culture is retarded.

When the undercards keep impressing "well over" the main event, it's
a problem.
Watching a defensive specialist like Mayweather perform against a solid younger foe. What was not to like? I expected this, not that dominant though, but this was what me and my friend waitied up all night to 7 to see. It wasn't the best Floyd fight, but there were magic in the ring again! That's what I want to see. Hit and don't get hit, Mayweather is the best I've ever seen at that.
I remember Mayweather was an eyeopener for me, I did not think it was possible to be that slick in the ring. So obviously I'm a big fan of his craft.
I would have watched it at the movie theater (May-Cotto was badass at the theater) but my schedule didnt allow it for my time zone so I watched the tape afterwards without reading any stories first so it was like it was live. Only thing is I seen it was an hour long video so I knew it was likely a decision which kind of sucked because it was pretty obvious who would be winning.
I have only just caught up with it on soso and switched it off after 3 rounds. Boring as hell, completely predictable mismatch and snoozer. I will never get those nine minutes back, and I'm glad I didnt stay up to watch it.
The previous weekend was absolutely brilliant, one of the best nights of boxing in years. This was absolute gack by comparison.
There were many who didn't pay for it, but since time immemorial they still don't understand why it's called: "Boxing" and not "Brawling 'til we both end up in a bloody mess".
After six or twelve months people forget why they swore off falling for it the last time. It's truly outrageous Floyd makes the money he does based on his actual entertainment value.
Translation: they forget how ridiculously skilled mayweather is...
Even funnier, is how the fight fans want to be made, canelo (because they think he has the best shot at beating mayweather), will outweigh Floyd by 25 or so pounds on fight night....that's how ridiculously skilled mayweather is.
But for the most part, there are two camps of viewers; those that like watching mayweather, and those that are desperately hoping Floyd fails.

when I was in UK I did once buy his ppv against marquez. I'd keep buying ppvs if i'd live in US or UK. money is just paper, I enjoy watching classic boxing even though I knew he'd win by UD. and who complaints? most ppl on the boards are plain haters who follow only their country fighters
