Of course he studies everyone why you think he always ends up with easy opponents he can beat? Slick cherry picking like that doesnt just happen
He can beat anybody his size so your post is an oxymoron , you haters are such dumb fcks lol .
Well thats sth new. Didn't he always say he never watches the tapes?

I know Floyd is talking about fighters of yesteryear in that video, but Floyd claiming he doesn't really study his opponent is the biggest spoof he has ever created. It is total BS, I have absolutely no doubt he studies meticulously before a fight, he is always too well prepared for the opposing fighters tendencies. It is very clever because I bet in certain cases he made the other camp believe that Floyd wasn't prepared for them. I guarantee he works on multiple things before every fight centred around an overall game plan.
Floyd dont fight much and has a lot of time on his hands, so you better believe hes using that time constructively ie watching fighters from past and present ie his opponents and peers.
Buts hes only testing himself against B level fighters so that will have to change. But he looks like quite a sweet little guy in this vid so i wont be harsh on him here.
Anyone that believes he doesn't watch film is incredibly naive. You don't get to that point without being studious. Mayweather mentioned he saw Guerrero fight Casamayor, he saw the Katsidis fight and the Berto fight.
He said he doesn't watch the tapes but he let his trainers do that and give him feed back on a game plan. I forgot why he said he specifically does this. He said that in this fight his father watched tapes of Robert fights and told Floyd that the straight right hand will be his best punch in this fight. I personally don't think hes lying because it wouldn't make any difference if he do or don't because he is still getting a game plan from people who knows how his opponents fight.
My thoughts exactly.
I want to be a Floyd fan so bad, but he just makes it impossible.
He's one of the greatest fighters I've ever seen in the ring everytime I watch him fight... but then again... who is he fighting??
and he never tells the truth, he says something one day, and then says the complete opposite another.
I want to be a fan, I want to respect him but I just cant
And yet you respect Lebron James.
come on man, did you start watching boxing yesterday?
Let's look at his opponent choice.
Robert Guerrero
Cotto who's looked like **** since 2009(where was floyd in 2009?)
Victor Ortiz
Shane mosley who hasn't won a fight since 2009(where was floyd in 2009?)
Lightweight Marquez
Hatton
Baldomir
He retired when the division was the best in the world, and signed a 6 fight deal when it died.
All fights people wanted
Ecspecially the Mosley fight.

He was referring to the greats fighters of the past in that vid. If you have the ability to adjust and adapt on a fly in the ring why would you need to study your opponents!

WHAT year did Floyd outclass JMM???
Was Floyd not Shanes first fight after MARGS WAS MURDERED???
WAS NOT PAC FIGHTING CATCHWEIGHTS??????
****KK OUTTA HERE....
If any of you actually think Floyd doesn't study his opponents to an insane degree before a fight you don't know **** about boxing. How do you think they develop and work on a gameplan in training camp? Or do you think Floyd just hits pads and the bag at random until fight night?
My thoughts exactly.

pretty much every name one or two divisions centred around him until he cleared them all out and demands for him to start fighting middleweights sparked up. LOL @ these ****ing idiots who want him to fight Martinez.
Floyd is a boxing genius watching highlights of your nxt opponent in some aspects hypes them up.. so he doesnt do it, he watchs a spectrum of different **** to gaguage his opponents without giving them the credit of watchng therei entire fights... because he's great
Well thats sth new. Didn't he always say he never watches the tapes?
He already explained this, he studies them by who they fought and how many rounds they lasted against them and compares it to who he fought and look at their KO ratio etc
He doesn't watch fights while in training camp, but he does watch fights
