SOLD OUT?
While everyone involved in this “May Day” card is claiming a sell-out (or close to it), the reality is there are tickets to be had all over on the secondary market. As of late last week, there were whole rows of tickets available in certain sections on Ticketmaster, which have mysteriously disappeared in the past couple of days.
But if you look at this helpful site (http://www.tiqiq.com/tiqiq/singleevent.aspx?brandid=tiqiqhomepage&eventid=6721967814&publisherid=51113) you’ll see that thousands of tickets are to be had - and at below face value.
The bottom line is that the pricing of this show from Mayweather Promotions seemed exorbitant (and based on public demand, that’s the case) and by basically scaling the whole lower bowl well over $500 and calling it “ringside,” well, this is what could happen. Robert Guerrero is a good fighter but unlike, say, a Miguel Cotto, he doesn’t really bring a strong fan-base of his own.
Also, not having the fight between Saul Alvarez and Austin Trout as the main support bout has hurt sales. The results in San Antonio, where nearly 40,000 patrons packed the Alamodome, bare that out. “Canelo” understood his value to this undercard and rolled the dice in San Antonio. It’s safe to say he made his point on April 20th and made it as it related to the card this weekend.
But yeah, if you need tickets, go to Vegas. They are there to be had - and at a discounted price.

Guerrero had people at the weigh in, sounded like there were quite a bit of boos for Mayweather at the weigh-in.
This isn't as compelling of a match up as the Mayweather-Cotto.
It should still do $1 mil in PPV.
i'm glad because i wanted to buy a ticket when they went on sale but the $200's and the next price weren't available because of the damn brokers. i hope they lose a lot of money and don't get so many next time so us regular fans can.
This isn't about brokers you dumb f***s. The fight is NOT sold out! Therefore you can get some tickets for over half off from brokers.
So the next time Floyd fights a cherry pick don't buy the tickets early and at face value.
Good tip.......
MGM buys out a lot of tickets too, use them as comps for the high rollers have more incentive to come. LOL Some writers are mad that this is happening, somehow Floyd is being a crappy promoter because of this
Nah the third party brokers give the tickets they can't sell back. Mayweather dont get paid for that.
Their boy might've gotten his money but the truth is people don't pay to see this guy like they all think or how he makes it seem.

lol at the flomos trying to flip it,
the tickets are always pioriority for the scalper ticketmaster etc etc, but if it dont work no biggie, they just pay the tax on the ticket and write it of as a tax deducation.
cant believe how much of you guys are so stupid.
Sold out never means sold out, just mean the scaplers bought, lol.
Ticketmaster released even more tickets today including large sections going for $300
Still not sold out. Trust me.
I had 2 seats that I paid 630 a piece for and could no longer make it down to Vegas so I put them on stubhub weeks ago and I finally sold them today last minute for 350.each. they are going way below value

The arena is sold out. What you are seeing are resale tickets.
Sold out? The tickets were sold to brokers/third parties, are they showing up? Very doubtful so no the arena is not sold out.
