Man as much as I enjoy and love boxing for big fights I get so nervous and tence it's kinda like a double Edge sword because at the time or at least first 5 rds I can't even enjoy it because I'm so shook, anyone else experience this?
I support Khan but I'm not his fan, I've start watchin boxing because of Khan but I know he isn't the best anymore. You can imagine how I feel every time Khan fights, I'm always like 'this guy gonna get KTFO, he's gonna disappoint me, He got ****ing crap chin!'
yes extremely nervous throughout the whole day, even into the first couple rounds, after about the mid rounds it seems to go away then i spend the rest of the night on boxing forums.
I only get nervous and agitated during Pacquiao's fights. And when he wins via KO/TKO I have the pleasure of getting arousal too.
LOL...just like your sig I bet.
I wonder what happened to you when Pac got ko'ed.
As a big fan of both Hatton and Pac I prayed to the boxing god (Calzaghe) Hatton didn't get ktfo or humiliated/killed.... But that's EXACTLY what happened. I feared for his life and was right to do so.
Yeah I had the same feeling when Hatton got iced, I thought something seriously bad happened when they started to turn him.
Same thing when Marquez iced Pac as beautiful as both KO's were I'm glad both are ok.
For what its worth I went to see rigo and donaire at radio city and around the fourth round I had a panic/anxiety attack and watched the rest of it with the security guard wo was checking tickets in my aisle (spelling). Weird fight to get nervous over not much action and rigs was dominating but I had too much riding on it.
When I fighter I really like is fighting, man the feeling is crazy. He might be winning, but you always know "this is boxing, ANYTHING can happen."
Other than that if it's just a good fight, I only get nervous for a fighter when they get iced hoping they recover well.

Man it's weird to me because when I watch fights I start shaking and I stutter my words but when I'm fighting I'm as calm as Ghandi. It's weird man

I do. I get sweaty palms and my heart rate climbs. My muscles get all tensed up and I have to tell myself to calm down and breathe slowly and deeply and then I begin to relax.
It's weird and it happens every time I'm watching fighters that I support. I guess it's just how you feel when you're watching something you genuinely care about. You get an adrenaline rush as if it was you that was about to throw down in front of everyone. I kind of like the feeling to be honest.
For me, Rigo-Donaire was the first fight in a couple years that had tension you could just feel.
same here, even Roy Jones said the same thing right before the bell rang.
Last time I've been really nervous before a fight was for Rigodneaux/Donaire
Even Roy Jones Jr expressed this himself during that fight, saying "Its been a long time since I've been nervous right before a fight, this is one of them."

Yeah me too. I can't eat until after the fights.
All the time I pace in the living room my wife think I'm crazy for it lol. I do that for all my sportws favs I won't be able to for this Mayweather fight being there live.

Hell yea, I wsa really wound up for that fight and the way they stood right in front of each other in the first couple of rounds really had me fixated
I can't sit still whenever Pacquiao fights. I'm always so on edge.
I get nervous before other big fights too but the nerves usually leave after a couple of rounds, once the fight gets going.
