AMIR KHAN claims he is “100 percent” on course to become a world champion once again by the end of this year.
The Bolton bruiser is confident of muscling his way back into the world title picture despite an unconvincing points win over Julio Diaz in Sheffield on Saturday.
The former two-time world light-welterweight champion hardly turned in the kind of devastating show needed to convince those who doubt his ability to get back to the top.
But Khan was bullish after his hard-earned victory and said: “Yes, I am 100 percent certain that I can become a world champion again by December.”

Khan is no longer an elite contender. He apart lost to a bum in Diaz. Diaz has never rise to the occasion when given the opportunity but I give him credit. Khan has no chin whatsoever and didn't do a lick in that fight. And what kind of lame ass instructions was Hunter giving him "I told you you're strong" hahah. Khan gets ktfo by Matys and Garcia again!!!
Robert Guerrero has cash-in his WBC Interim Welterweight Title, Khan as the #2 guy can now fight for that belt..

I guess Khan's 143 catchweight fight classifies him as a welter huh? He is gonna have to man up against Abregu for the chance at Mayweather and he ain't winning that fight, I'll tell you that.
Is Abregu vs Khan a possible match up? Abregu is strong and punches hard. Khan seems to always get caught after he starts fast and begins to tire. Not a good match up for Khan.
LMAO, Abregu would knock that ass out in 2 rounds, you kidding me?
And Canelo will? Canelo is the most protected fighter in boxing.
He would've never fought Trout, if not in Texas and he arguably lost the fight.
Canelo gassed in 5 rounds and was outworked. Everything Marquez said about Canelo is correct.
wow an amir fan boy....
how many times has canelo been pacquiaoed???
go watch cricket

Khan sure has a heart of a fighter.
Even though he's been KO'ed and dropped and hurt several times he's still fighting on.
He's exciting to watch no doubt, I'm always on the edge when I watch him fight because once he gets tagged you know he may drop or be on queer st. A for effort but I think he will get stopped or dropped or KO'ed whatever Khan is going to get hurt.
Yeah OK, let's get Canelo outta the discussion.
Khan is hilarious. He takes himself so seriously and appears to try to improve his skills just as hard, but he just can't put it all together. I like watching him box, he's got fast hands and some power, but he just can't figure out how to plant his feet and throw a professional punch. It's like his legs have a mind of their own, he's always bouncing around throwing punches.
He's fun to watch. I want to root for him and see him do well, but if he gets rocked with a big shot and does his chicken dance around the ring, that's just as much fun. Watching his fights are a win-win. He's either gonna unload some wicked combos and have success, or get caught with a hook (which for god knows why he can't avoid) and put on his butt. Or a combination of both. Either way, win-win for me sitting at home watching.
"It's like his legs have a mind of their own, he's always bouncing around throwing punches."
So we have a new moniker for him... A Mere 'Crazy Legs' Con.

Article's about Khan, but while you're on the subject, maybe you lost some serious cashish on the Canelo fight? It would explain your delusions regarding his talent.
Even Santa Clause could not deliver you the championship in December no matter how good you've been...you barely survived the w against b or c class Diaz..
He was a whisker away from being KO d in the 11th. I think he needs a huge reality check before he gets really hurt. Matthysse would put him in a coma..
