I was watching an interview online with him by acuba which was awesome, he said he told rigondeaux that if nonito wants to fight him at 126 to go ahead and do it because on fight night Rigondeaux was 125 and Donaire was 142 holy *****.
He said that Rigo walks around 128 and he eats bread beans and the whole 9 yards. But he trains very hard, he actually said that on Monday the will start doing light jogging together.
That's the only reason I chose Donaire to win. I was thinking he would use his body to put the pressure on Professor Rigo and eventually tire him out to the point where Professor Rigo would make mistakes and Donaire would be able to capitalize and connect solid punches, but dam did Professor Rigo make me look like an @ss. That was a solid showing of the sweet science that has not been seen in a long time. Props to Rigo
Props to PROFESSOR Rigo :boxing: :You_Rock_
That would be the exception here if it wasn't for Donaire who wanted to fight at that weight thinking he had the advantage over little Rigo
exactly now he would only rematch him at featherweight wait for pactard logic " he still going to weight the same on fight night so no diff"
I think Donaire and Sergio are a lot alike in qualities. Both are athletic freaks but with above average skills.
For a rematch I think Donaire will do a lot better than last time.
You're right if he comes up with a better game plan he might win 2 rounds this time.
Well Rigo gets no credit for fighting a guy who had to kill himself just to make weight, we must use Flowmo logic here.
That would be the exception here if it wasn't for Donaire who wanted to fight at that weight thinking he had the advantage over little Rigo. If I was Rigo and Donaire really wanted the rematch I would do what another certain P4P Filipino fighter does and ask for a catchweight of 117 if he really wants the fight :D Plus a one million dollar penalty for every pound he is over the limit  Oh and I almost forgot Donaire cannot (I can't emphasis this enough) ask for drug testing and most importantly he cannot wear his lucky sucks

HBO said Lucas was 163
Sorry I don't buy it. Its clear to me he is by far the bigger man.
I just can not believe Arce is 6lbs heavier
hbo in the past has had matthysse at 153 or less, it's ok to make one mistake, of all the donaire weigh-ins he's seem to rehydrate little
and looking at that video, if donaire was 5'4(like arce, montiel, rigondeaux) instead of 5'6-5'7, i think he'd look alot smaller than arce there
if you're just gonna go by your eyes, mayweather is usually atleast 10-15lb's bigger than his opponent, he looked bigger than cotto, despite cotto usually weighing in the high 160's, personally i doubt it, but going by just an eye exam, he was what to you? 170? against marquez, 160? floyd doesn't have a history of blowing up like that, he just looks big, kind of like marquez at the fourth fight weigh-in
these are official hbo weights, not like floyd who just says it
against arce he was 129 to arce's 135 on fight night too

Yet he can not make 122 now?
I don't believe this, there is noway Montiel outweighed Donaire by 8lbs, he towered little Monty.
The weights must be the wrong way round.

Its not just his height, his legs, his big ass head, his whole body dwarfs just about everyone he fights.
He apparently rehydrated to 126 but in his next fight he was 7lbs heavier with 3 meals & fluids to go?
He was barely rehydrating anything so he wasn't big at these weights right? So why all of a sudden is he saying he can not make 122 any more?
It was 2 years ago & he was barely making 118 now hes outgrown 122 at the age of 30?
Sorry I do not buy it. Donaire is a huge guy who boils down weight to fight guys half his size that are shot and old or just tiny and useless. He messed with the wrong guy with Rigo hey
Its easy to cut the weight but as you get older, not so much and that is what has happened.
The funny thing is even at 126, Donaire will be bigger than most.
Why does anybody believe he was being outweighed by all these guys when hes stood next to them and is not only several inches taller but about three times as wide?
Respect to Rigo and his fans, because never once did I hear them cry or complain about Donaire will come in blown up (like other fans of other fighters who cry and make up every excuse about weight so there fighters can duck fighters, that pussy mentality). Just make the weight that all that matters, the rest is just pussy drama shit for the girls to gossip about later.
I wonder how he got that # if "New York doesn't allow unofficial weights."
I still don't see how anyone can gain 20lbs overnight. Even if a lot of it is water weight, it still doesn't make sense to me.
10 pounds is nothing. 15-20 is when you risk messing yourself up before the fight. What I dont get it why they need to do it. Using the sauna to lose weight like that is so uncomfortable its not even funny. If they can withstand that they should be able to put in the work to lose the weight in the first place.

arce, montiel, rigondeaux are 5'4, donaire is 5'6-5'7
it's just his height

and this weigh in pic, i dunno if it's fake or what, i didn't know donaire had muscle definition, seems like his climb in weight was just, "eat more food"

Did you miss Canelo-Trout? Both of them went up a pound or 2 shy of 20lbs.
Margarito if I remember correctly came in weighing 166-170lbs against Pacquiao, which from 150 is nearly 20lbs. Mayorga gained around 20lbs for Mosley. Clottey gained around 23lbs for Pacquiao. Ortiz gained 17lbs against Mayweather.
I know it can and has been done. I'm saying it just doesn't make sense to me. 20 lbs is a lot of weight to put on in 24hours.

has donaire ever blowned up? any facts, like past fight night weights?
i've always wondered this. I've asked b4 but no one was able to answer.
All the unofficial weights show that he weighed less than everyone.

Yep, 131lbs n I still have breakfast, lunch and dinner tomorrow before I fight! Totally amped and thanks to my fans for their belief in me and prayers but Team Donaire has prepared me and we are GOOD TO GO!
In other words he was 140 for teeny tiny Narvaez who didn't even rehydrate over the Bantamweight limit.
A minimum of four weight classes heavier on fight night.
Makes me laugh how HBO said Arce weighed more yet Donaire was 3 times his size
