nah 10-8 is only for knock downs, have to give the other boxer credit for staying on his feet.
Why not reward the better guy for beating the sh1t out of him? Some of these guys would be getting stopped on their feet with a different ref, or in other guy's hometown. If it's that bad, why not give credit to the better guy?
Taking the knee will only buy you 15 seconds. That doesn't buy you much, most of these rounds involve protracted punishment. If you wanted to get around it, you'd be taking 8 knees a round.
Thats just ****ing stupid...
WHY THE **** WOULD IT BE A 10-8 round if the guy didnt go down..
i mean whats the ****ing point of staying up showing balls of steel.. he might aswell take a knee and waste a few seconds... i mean common man
It can still be rated 10-8 without knockdown.... Depends just how one sided the round was.

Why?
10 point must system was in place. It's a good system.
Diaz getting 10-9 rounds for rocking him and basically putting him out on his feet, when Khan got 10-9s and didn't win them anywhere near as big? Should be more realistic with the points, judges awarding 10-8, 10-7 without a KD when they win a round so big.
Fights like this show how poor the points system is, no way should Diaz be awarded only the same points as Khan did in the early rounds.
Shows how poor the referee system is too. Big fights should get deserving refs. Not just the best local referee. It's not the 1960s anymore.
Nah, I don't score a 10-8 unless you go down, this is why Bradley won on my scorecard against Provo if not we could all score 10-8 rounds to Provo for hurting Bradley.
He only survived from holding and the ref allowing it, Diaz was jobbed.
