Chris Arreola gives his opinion on today's heavyweights.
W. Klitschko - "He's probably the most boring fighter out there. He doesn't take enough risks".
V. Klitschko - "He's not as talented as his brother".
T. Fury - "He's just a big size; got to chop him down!"
M. Scott - "Talent man. Very talented. Very underrated fighter".
A. Povetkin - "He's a joke".
B. Jennings - "I'd pick him over Wilder".
T. Thompson - "He's like a tall Homer Simpson".
D. Wilder - "He's still too green. He's picking guys you find at the bus stop".

It is true, but if it ain't broke don't fix it. :boxing:
Arreola got tired of pursuing that fight. He was no longer pursuing it because it wasn't going to happen. Like I said Wlad would beat him, but didn't want that fight. So Arreola is trying for another Vitali fight
. If I find other cases of fights that Wlad wanted his brother to take because style match ups, and you find another Freedom debate against it I am in a lose-lose discussion.
True but Wlad didn't want Arreola. Arreola was trying for a Wladimir fight and couldn't get it. He will get a Vitali rematch instead if Vitali doesn't retire.
You got it backwards. Arreola's management decided to go a different direction.
Gabe Saginaw Mi
Now that Arreola is hurt does he go right into a Klitschko fight or does he take a fight before that?
Dan Rafael
I am told Arreola will not be facing Klitschko in the fall. His camp is no longer pursuing that fight.

I can't stand it when fighters that couldn't hang with guys they've lost to try to insult their opponent for being boring after theyre defeated. I'm looking at you Nonito Donaire talking about Rigondeaux and Carl Froch talking about Ward .
Maybe if all you guys were more skilled, you'd be able to make it competitive and interesting.
lol the only boring fighters are the fighters that are least likely to lose. Wlad, Floyd, Ward and Ringo. They aren't boring its just garbage fighters like Arreola that can't compete with the talented boxers.
Ringo's a Beatle jj. :)
You're right however, it does seem like boring fighters are the least likely to lose. It's because as Chris says, they take less risks. Good little interview with Arreola.
Guillermo Rigondeaux
Funny how some guys on here love Rigo's fight versus Nonito, yet call Wladimir Boring when he basically throws more shots and fights off the back foot as well while systematically breaking his opponent down.

If I was in Shrek's place, I would feel very bad knowing that the no-talent guy beat the **** outta me and made me cry like a little girl in front of millions
and I along with every other american fan with the sole exception of Jab have more respect for wladimir than your disgusting lard ass.
get in shape you fat slob.
It's easy to look good and score early KOs against the low-level opponents Arreola has fought.
Arreola has only been in with two top 25 heavyweights (Vitali and Adamek) and he wasn't so "exciting" when he lost those two fights.
That Adamek fight was pretty damn good.

Ha, yes. It's funny that Arreola says that he has fought his way to a contender position (he took the hard road and mixed it up with other contenders). Not sure when this happened, but I missed it.

Wow, a professional top 10 heavyweight saying what I've been saying for years. Am I just that smart or is it just that obvious?
