JMM-Pacquiao 4-Pacquiao knocked out
Pacquiao-Bradley- Pacquiao won
Pacquiao-JMM 3- Pacquiao lost
Pacquiao-Mosley- Pacquiao won but Mosley's next fight was Canelo if Pacquiao gets credit so does Canelo
Margarito-Pacquiao- Margarito hadn't fight in the US in 22 months he had been beaten and caught cheating last time he did
And this man is p4p give me a beak
He didn't lose JMM 3, it was a close fight that could have gone either way, much like their first 2 bouts. It's not like Bradley where everyone had Pac wide, no argument.
Mosley was his worst win in years, cause Mosley was washed up. But it was a dominant win vs a Ring top 5 welter, which is usually a decent win. Why Canelo should get less credit:
Mosley was unranked and undersized at 154, and never that good there
He was even older and more washed up, coming off the most humiliating loss of his career, having been turned into a runner by Pac
Canelo with his big size advantage didn't drop him or send him running
Marg was nothing special at that point, just a really tough night for any welter, much less a midget sized one. He was still a hell of a lot tougher h2h than the likes of Ortiz, Guerrero, Alexander, Khan, Berto...
No ,
If someone put him there before Trout fight , he should be out now !
it was good win , but exposed alot of flaws in his boxing skills .
I can't believe someone with no footwork can be of the best 10 boxers in the world .
You don't count Bradley as a loss but you count JMM-Pacquiao 3 as a win, so I know you are biased, Alvarado is a 140 pounder, you Pacquiao fans are every bit as bad as Mayweather fans.
Where did you see that? I never counted it as a win. But unlike Pac Bradley, it was a legit close fight. I had it a draw, which was the average score on press row cards.
What does it matter Alvarado is a JWW, he'll be 15lbs heavier than Pac fight night? Check it out: he was just 158 fight night for a JWW bout. Meanwhile, the smaller, less accomplished, lower rated JWW Prov goes up, weighs in 150 fight night (at welter! there's bigger LWs) vs 160lb p4p Bradley, and busts him up awful.
Yeah the guy who just got knocked out and is fighting Alvarado is clearly p4p, you Pacquiao fans love it both ways.
He was top 2 already, and lost in a competitive fight vs another p4per, who happens to be his toughest matchup. Before that he beat another p4per, which is a very good result despite the scorecards. Alvarado is no worse than Guerrero h2h and Pac is coming off a bad KO, not sure why the complaining.
does he partake in making the rankings? if so that explain a whole lot. this man scored calzaghe-hopkins 9 rounds to 3 for calzaghe. how could he be wrong?
That's the guy. Here's one Ring editor washing his hands of their rankings:

Everyone on the Ratings Panel agrees that Broner is rated too high on the P4P list and that he shouldn’t be ahead of Donaire. Don’t blame them for the new pound-for-pound rankings. They had no input. Ring editor Michael Rosenthal and I did, but obviously, our opinions fell on deaf ears. The pound-for-pound rankings as it is now is just Chuck Giampa’s list.
I'm a big Broner fan, and Canelo is pretty good, but how in the wide world of sports is Rigondeaux not on the P4P list for beating Donaire, who was #5.....but Donaire still keeps a spot??? That is asinine.
When Floyd beats Guerrero , both Donaire and Guerrero will be out of the list
The top 10 will change after May 4 (Flord/Guerrero) , and again on after May 25 (Froch/Kessler).
The list goes
Mayweather
Ward
Martinez
JMM
Rigo
Wlad
Bradley
Mares
Froch
Canelo
I bet the same people talking down on Canelo got Manny and Donaire in their garbage top 10.
The fact that you don't have PAC on the list at all make your list uncredited let be real
When Floyd beats Guerrero you know ring magazine will put Canelo in there

I have not made an up to date pfp list but I am sure when I do Canelo will be in the lower part of the top 10. Broner might be about number 20. Trout would be around number 12 or 13. GGG. would be in the lower part of the top 10 and Rigo makes the top 5 on my list for sure. The usuals, Mayweather, Martinez, Marquez and Pacquiao are all somewhere in my top 10 and Lara is near the top ten. I will wait for Donaire's next fight to rate him. Matthysse is also in the running for a spot in my top ten as is Froch. Damn, getting it down to the 10 best pfp is hard. There are lots of good fighters here right now in my opinion.
Broner and Canelo shouldn't be on there yet. He beats the Angulo/Lara winner in dominant fashion, he didn't dominate or convincingly beat Trout to me, than he should be on there.
Mayweather, Ward, Marquez, Sergio, Rigondeaux, Pacquiao, Wlad, Donaire, Mares, and Bradley or Froch, there's your Top 10 P4P in a real world.
p4p lists are a joke these days
wouldn't be surprised if Alvarez gets on there, not that it matters
it's just a flavor of the month/hype device for fighters
