Strange old performance. He didnt look like he wanted to be there to be honest. I wonder if there is any truth to the proposed move to matchroom sports?
I don't think so. Both he and Warren were talking about future fights together. He didn't sound like a fighter about to leave his promoter (then again it's Dereck, so you never know).

The funny thing is a friend was actually joking about how Chisora isn't much better than this guy. I've never been high on Chisora but fully expected him to destroy this guy within 3 rounds.
What happened to the Delbob who loved & lived to fight? Really seems like his heart isn't in it anymore. I'd of thought though with him getting his license back he'd of been anxious to knock this guys head off.
Very disappointing all round and my heart genuinely goes out to all that paid to watch his return.
Like someone said, the dude is just a gatekeeper who brings pre fight entertainment. Something like Mayorga. I think the only reason he's fighting is cause he was offered a fight vs Price (where he will be used as the sacrificial lamb).

That was just sad...
I think Chisora calibrates himself to opponent. Even in Haye's fight he wasn't outclassed and he looked much better.. This was awful with awful opponent.
He's never getting another chance at the title... he's no 4 UK HW at the moment... Fury's little bro will be better soon too.
It was not good but it's just one fight after 10 months out. I wouldn't go overboard.

I'll put this one on him being out for a year, but if he fights like this again he might as well hang it up
He looked so bored, at one point is was busy checking out the card girls
Chisora punches Avila in the testicles, and the ref stops the fight.
To be fair I think the ref just stopped the fight so he wouldn't have to DQ him for holding.
Chisora never had any punching power however I wouldn't read too much into this fight. I see Chisora as a gatekeeper in this division never will be good enough to win a world title but will probably be always in around the top 10.

I think the long yeat lay off and back to back huge fights have taken their toll on him
also he looks so unmotivated, must be a come down when you go from fighting in huge fights to an empty arena
Del Boy looks appalling. And I don't see how he'd have too much power for Adamek when Arreola, who rocks up in similar shape, has more power than Chisora
You're right i think i've had one too many, but i'm sure i don't remember him being this feather-fisted. Anyway turning this **** off now.
