117-110.
Donaire got the 10th only because of the KD (Rigo owned the rest of that round) and also the 7th which I feel Rigo gave away. Every other round was Rigo in complete control and putting on a clinic.
Yup I had the same score card too, the 9th round was close, but then Rigo just landed more shots at the end.

I scored it 115-113 for Rigondeux. Bit surprised with Bob Sheridan scoring the rounds to Donaire for just walking forward which may have influenced my close scoring. Bradley too had it close by 1 point to Rigo.
I think the only round Donaire really came out with intention was round 10 and he dropped him. The instant success should have convinced him to stop falling into Rigos trap by posing with him and should have instead turned up the heat as weve seen Rigo hurt before but he went back to boxing.
Even though the crowd booed I thought it was interesting throughout and congrats to Rigo
I scored it in favor of Rigondeaux by a margin 10 rounds to 2 or by a score of 117-110. The fight was not even close in my opinion. I docked Guillermo a point for the 10th round knockdown that Nonito had scored against him.
I had it 117-110 in favour of Rigo, the fight wasn't a high punching contest but more of a chess game with little burst of activity, defensive skills and more than average power punches been thrown by both fighters.
116-111 when I watched it live. 117-110 the other times I've viewed it. Clear, decisive victory. Only gave Donaire the 10th and 7th. Gave him 4th the first time, but rewatching, Rigondeaux edged that round.
Had it closer while watching it live mostly because of Timothy Bradley and the Idiots play by play guy that was working with him that had a crazy score card, he had it like 5-2 Donaire going into the 8th or something rediculous like that
but after watching it against...Julie Lederman had it right 116-111 is FAIR
11 rounds to Rigondeaux.
And tbf, the knockdown round could easily be a 9-9. After Rigo got up he beat that ass.
Just a really, really one sided affair.
Agreed. I was watching the fight with my dad and I told him that it could've easily been a 9-9 round because other than the KD Rigo continued dominating Donaire.

I had 116-111 for rigo
same, i don't buy into the compubox bull****
116-111 Rigo
1. 10-9 R
2. 10-9 R
3. 10-9 R
4. 10-9 R
5. 10-9 D (Boring RD, Rigo didn't really throw anything back)
6. 10-9 R
7. 10-9 D (Compubox said Rigo landed 10 punches this round, I didn't see that ****)
8. 10-9 R
9. 10-9 R
10. 10-8 D
11. 10-9 R
12. 10-9 R
Rigo - 9 Rounds
Donaire - 3 Rounds, 1 was 10-8
116-111
Round 10 if not for the KD, would've been a Rigo round
I had it closer than some people at 115-112.
I gave Donaire the 2nd, a couple of middle rounds when Rigo wasn't doing anything, and of course the 10-8 round.
Rigo won the last two rounds and so clearly won the fight.
Exactly the same as you, mate.
I had it 115-112 Rigondeaux, although I thought Rigo evidently won the fight.
Rigo controlled the tempo of the fight from start to finish, more or less, but his running and reluctance to throw in the mid to late rounds, added to the fact that Donaire was putting on decent pressure and looked like he was trying to make something happen more than Rigondeaux, made sure that he lost rounds that he could easily have won, had he thrown punches and engaged in a fight. It's one thing to control the momentum of the fight with your speed and movement, but if you don't actually throw punches to make the most of owning the ring then you can't win rounds.
The judges scored the fight correctly, IMO.
118-108 Rigo
I gave Rigo a 10-8 round in round 12 because donaire was a 1 handed fighter 15 seconds into round 12 and donaire only landed 7 punches in that round while Rigo landed about 19 or 20 in round 12.
This gets an award for boxing clinic of the year.
I was at the fight. I thought Donaire won 2 rounds at the time. I just re-watched the HBO broadcast. I'm confident in saying that Rigo won every round but the 10th, the knockdown round. That was possibly the most convincing one-sided victory over a P4P champion I've ever seen.
How did the one judge have it 114-113??? I saw Donaire winning 1, maybe 2 rounds but that's it he was completely lost in the ring you could see it and rigo landed more punches clearly in every single round except for the 10th.
i can see how it's possible. if you check my scorecard on page 6, IMHO there were 4 rounds (2,3,7,8) that were so actionless a judge could have gone either way. However when rounds like this accumulate, i tend to alternate who i give the rounds to. hence my 116-111 scorecard for rigo.
EDIT: the problem with a judge giving all 4 rounds to donaire is that it makes it seem like the fight was much closer than it actually was. when rigo won a round (which was most rounds) he pretty much dominated. except for the KD round, if donaire won a round, it was just barely.
