"Personally I think the people would prefer a fight against Gennady Golovkin or with Andre Ward, fighters who come forward, not runners" said Chavez to ESPN. "The rematch with Maravilla doesn't interest me for now," he added.

EDIT: There'a also a quote from Sampson
The only thing we're looking at is Martin Murray. Maravilla is coming off surgery and it will be difficult to be 100%." said the manager. "But we are thinking about the real possibility, if the circumstances are in agreement, one of them would be olympic testing and it would have to be in Vegas," added Sampson.
Ward would beat his ass but a GGG fight would be tremendous. Hopefully Bob is his bitterness to get one over GBP lets it happen.

GGG is with K2, not GBP. The fight can happen without problem. But Bob will start talking about building GGG name and all that bla bla so he will stalled the fight
Chavez GGG, $h!t juss got real. Everyone wanna claim the world is ducking the G man. Well Chavez jr juss tossed his name in da pot. Forget Ward, horrible match-up and a Ward cherrypick. Chavez/GGG is the fight everyone should wanna see.
Triple G vs Jr sounds like a good slugfest. Jr has a good chin and good enough output to make things interesting. The only chance that Jr would have in that fight is outlasting Golovkin's stamina.
Jr vs Ward is a no contest, not even interested.
But my money is on Arum matching Jr against somebody else somewhere in Texas
Sergio Martinez didn't call out GGG..... loser Chavez Jr. did
Chavez jr called out Martinez too, when Martinez tried to make the fight excuses came up......for two years straight. Chavez says a lot of stuff but let's see how quick he is to act on what he says he will do.
Martinez hasn't ever ducked anyone, in fact he move up for more challenge, fought nothing but champs and undefeated fighters or guys with barely a loss. It doesn't matter who he fights, he will still be ducking the next guy...just da way it goes.

Completely pointless on him fighting Andre Ward why would you want to do that just after losing not even a near close fight?
Andre Ward would just about do the same thing as Martinez done to him he'd smother him for 12rounds and not give him a chance to breath eventually losing a UD.
Martinez will surely want the Chavez Jr fight again though just solely for money and ease of the job, GGG is probably stylistically a fight Chavez jr may have a good chance in but that's only down to sheer size the fat ass bloats up to god knows how many lbs on the night of the fight!
If he wants to try go for one of the big kind of names he should look at Quillin because GGG next big fight should be with Martinez as he's been wanting that fight for a very long time.
I still think that Chavez Jr vs Golovkin would be an interesting fight, not a one sided beatdown.
Chavez lacks of skills, that goes without saying, his chin and size though would be a big factor here. Martinez outboxed Chavez, Golovkin would trade with him. In my opinion they would end up fighting on the inside long enough to allow Chavez to hold and 'smother' his opponent.
If you add that Golovkin seems to gas after 6 ot 7 rounds against 154lbs, I foresee a tough fight for him, especially the second half. Unless he manages to crack Chavez's chin in the early rounds, of course, but it doesn't seem likely.
Everybody on here tells us how Golovkin is the most scary fighter in the history of the universe; well the middleweight champion of the world just called his ass out. Is Golovkin going to keep barking, or is he going to bite?
I think after watching Chavez violate Martinez, that Golovkin is shook and doesn't want to get anywhere near a ring with him. He doesn't want to become number 48.
Chavez....Violate....Martinez?...HAHAHAHA!
I take it you missed the first 35 minutes of Jr getting his face plastered by martinez.

I think GGG is not ready for Ward too, and Ward can beat him now and in the future but Chaves will be easy work for GGG. Chaves has no skills and unfortunately, Chaves doesn' t want learn boxing and be discipline athlete.
GGG is 30 years old. If he's not ready now he will never be.

I don't get some of the things Chavez is saying. Martinez doesn't run he beat him up for most of the fight and he's modest. He'd have a competitive fight with Golovkin which I think Golovkin would win. Ward would smash Chavez, maybe Ward could stop him.

Chavez vs GGG please!
I know Ward has being calling Chavez out but thats a pointless fight. A middleweight coming off a loss. Ward needs to sort himself out because he is quickly becoming a joke with his actions.
Golovkin vs Chavez is a good fight for both guys. Chavez needs a route back in and GGG would show if he can handle Chavez any better than Martinez. Stylewise its a better fight too but I dont think anyone can take this quote by Chavez seriously. I cant see him ever commiting career suicide by taking this fight. Not whilst Peter Manfreddo is still active anyway. Heres abit of money milking still in Chavez.
For the record if it did happen I think the skills and power of Golovkin would make this fight a 1 sided beatdown.

Now here's a good candidate for some drug testing. Even the most rightious cronic doesn't make you this stupid
I bet my account Ward would beat the shit out of Chavez Jr. I don't dislike the guy, but he's not near Ward's class and he would zero size advantage. Gets taken to school and torn apart.
I don't think GGG and Chavez Jr. is the mismatch many think it is, I think Chavez Jr. can take the shots and keep coming, something Golovkin has not seen before.
Martinez would take him to school again, we don't need to see that twice.
