What the hell? Kid says he gave Alvarado "three or four rounds" and that "everyone saw it". Here's a link. Maybe someone can find it in better quality, but the audio is OK:

Look man, Rios is an OK fighter by me (I mean he's entertaining) but he was acting like a ***** last night. Alvarado didn't act like a ****ing child when he lost the first fight, even if he did disagree with the ref's decision. Rios acted like a big baby and apparently thinks he got "robbed". Kid's a goddamned imbecile and I'm glad he lost.
rios' excessive use of "warrior" makes me hate hearing that damn word.
thats probably the only word he knows how to describe how to block with your face.
:lol1: man that's the truth

He got so used to Arum bailing him out of course he thought he won.
Honestly I think this is true. I think he felt like he was being protected like Mayweather back in the day and Pac was through all those early JMM fights. Hell one of the judges scored Rios the W against Abril. No way he didn't know he wasn't winning the fight, his damn trainer told him he needed the last 3 rounds to win the fight and he did nothing special in those championship rounds.
Reminded me of Margacheato after the Paul Williams fight. Pwill clearly dominated him but Margs acted like he got robbed.
I guess the early signs of brain damage with Rios is becoming more evident after these wars with Alvarado.
Watching it again, sure it's disrespectful that he jumped in when he should have waited his turn but obviously he was amped. Did he SAY anything disrespectful?
As far as who won the fight, that's a different story.
He was actually nice and kept saying how they are both warriors and such, He just wouldn't let Alvarado talk so it seemed ignorant during an interview
the rounds were real real close i scored like this ive seen it 3 times already
i gave Rios for sure 1,2,4,5,11
4,5,6,7,8 were toss up rounds u could score them either way, this rounds could of change the scoring to a draw or some may think Rios could of won 7-5
n i gave Alvarado 3,6,7,8,9,10,12
i had Alvarado winning 7-5, 8-4 for Alvarado is also a good score
was extermely close, one of those fight I cant argue one way or the other.
i watch it once time depending what i looking at rios won and on the flip side I can score it for alavardo.
When a Rios nuthugger like hogg posts something like this, you know Alvarado clearly won
Alvarado won by outboxing Rios in the last three rounds, but it was close and could of been a draw or a win for either. Rios needs to get better condi!tioning, it seemed to me like he gassed out in the last three rounds. I like both fighters and wish them the best.
Brandon is a ****ing idiot, but that's the kind of psychotic drive a warrior like him has to have to do what he does in the ring. Who else carries that same conviction to kill his opponent even after missing wildly and eating devastating shots? He doesn't slow down, and he never stops believing in his ability. I don't doubt for a second he thought he won, and I'm sure he fully believes he will score a knockout in the third match. I can't wait to see it.
Yeah he did, obviously not used to losing and didn't handle it well at all.
did brandon not got caught with big shots from alvarado especially the right hand?and did robert garcia not tell him he neede the last 3 rounds?why is it all of a sudden o k to be a sore loser if you are undeafeted
Cause it's Simple
Alvarado got knocked around/back a couple times and ran on his bike a few times.
Brandon never did get that rocked or run...More aggressive with no backing up, Bingo !
Power punches, well Rios face is fine, Alvarado, not so much !
Fair enough. My problem is mainly Rios' whole attitude after losing. He acted like an annoying kid, and seemed to be real sore. Acting like you got robbed when you were in a competitive fight but also clearly lost just bothers me.

I'm not arguing with you on that. Alvarado won, and there was no robbery.
All I'm saying is the fight was competitive and that it's fair to say a fighter can have a different perspective from inside the ring.

He was getting outboxed man. IMO It was Rios who maybe won 3-4 rounds, not Mike.
Obviously Mike took some shots too, but over the whole fight the most clear and damaging punches came from Alvarado. Not to mention the better boxing and moving.

I think you're overly harsh. Kellerman read out of the compubox numbers at one point and they were damn near identical.
I gave Rios 5 rounds, so while he clearly lost imo he wasn't that far away. His perspective from inside the ring might be very different to ours watching on the outside.
Anyway, I felt Rios reacted poorly to the loss even if he thinks he won. He should have shown more class.
