Although I dont watch him that much Wladimir Klitschko jab is amazing because of his reach and strength and he sets up the right hand beautifully.

Wlad and Cotto have proven to have great jobs over a long period of time and against top opposition.

Miguel Vasquez has an excellent jab. Wladimir has probably the best jab

Malignaggi, his entire offense is built around that one punch.

Who's jab stands out in this era Andre Ward's jab is a beautiful thing. As has been said, Wladimir has a solid jab. It's a pity for every 10 punches he throws, 9 is with it. Hell, for every 19 outta 20 punches.

Cotto is one of course I think Trout currrently has one of the best Jabs in boxing as well, if you can out jab Cotto then it has to be one of the best Klitschko's are masters of the jab of course Chad Dawson has a good jab as well Ward does everything well but he uses his jab perfect to setup other things

Bradley has a pretty good jab closes distance well with it and sets up combinations with it.

Floyd mayweather and andre wards jab to the stomach is a killer

When Khan uses his jab and uses correctly* it's lethal. *sometimes doesn't get his technique quite correct - normally because he's looking for other shots while throwing the jab Virgil seems to be trying to teach him how it should be used - Making sure Khan doesn't throw it low leading to his 1,2 KO me Garcia combo.

A lot of good jabs out there. Wlad and Cotto come to mind but the most dominant jab I see is Floyds jab to the stomach. One of the most effective punches in the sport. Shut up floyd nut sucker

GGG's jab is like a right hand, so he deserves a mention.

Cotto has the best timed jab in the sport. He always throws it at exactly the right time, it has very good power and it's very effective. He went through a period after the Margarito fight where he forgot about it, but it was brought back around the Foreman fight. Wlad obviously has a strong jab, Mayweather has a very good jab when he decides he wants to use it, Martinez has a good jab and Sturm has a very good jab....sadly he has forgotten how to throw most other punches.

I would go with Wlad, GGG, Cotto and Sturm.

In terms of effectiveness Wlad who's dominating the HW division with his... Floyd's disruptive jab to the body (even his jab upstairs is good when used) Sergio martinez has a vicious jab that he doubles/triples on or hooks off of it. Next to Wlad he might have the most damaging one. Throws a lot behind i and can throw it moving back, sidewys, or forward. Sets up his left to the body beautifully with it. Nonito Donaire actually has a nice jab if he'd decide to use it more... GGG has a bomb of a jab too that he uses coming forward to get in. I'd rank Sergios over his strictly due to Serg having used his to break down better opponents in the past. But GGGs is no doubt quite the violent jab. Cotto's timing and delivery on his is amazing, particularly against slicker/boxer type fighters. He doesnt use it as much as he used to back around the mosley days where he went to the body more previous to that.

The heavyweight contender Malik Scott has a very good jab.
