brandon puts it on him. Pacquiao demonstrated you don't need size to beat cotto, putting pressure on him is all you need.
And some plaster in your handwraps goes nicely with all that pressure
its his weight now because his athleticism has declined. He got RING old! Mentally! Cutting the weight takes a lot of hard work. And commitment. Its eaiser to gain the weight and still train. Easier but not as effective for some. Younger faster 154ers will trash Cotto now. Hence the reason he moved up. 147 dudes are to quick and still hit hard. Face it Cotto had his time. Someone like Rios will beat Cotto down!
I totally agree with you.. Brandon will beat him... Cotto had his time... all you need to do is put constant pressure on Cotto and he will eventually break.
Cotto won't make 147 anymore I believe. And furthermore to me it looked as if Alvorado was the physically stronger guy in his first fight against Brandon Rios. So, it is hard for me to imagine Rios being able to do be effective at welterweight against top guys.
Maybe in a few years, but right now I got a feeling 140 is the limit when we talk about a weight where Rios is effective with his style and physical strength.

i don't think we'll see cotto at WW again. who knows, but if rios stops alvarado again, i'm down with him getting a pacquiao shot later in the year. pacquiao/rios would be a good fight for manny to come back to, to see how much he has left.
Make it happen Cameron Dunkin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rios would eat hard jabs all night and get beat up. He doesnt have margarito's stamina. And, he's been stunned before so his chin is crackable. Even if it did happen for some crazy reason he'd get stopped.
