Showing 6 hours of boxing in a month is not dedication, what they are dedicated to, is bringing the biggest names in boxing. According to Hunter, Ward has never been defeated, ever. Do you think Ward born a great boxer? Hunter has molded him into the fighter he is. Being with boxing for 30 years is dedication - HBO is the only channel that has stayed with boxing for such a long time, other than Sky sports (22 years). I think it's since he was 12, his amateur record is 115-5. Listen, as I said, no doubt Virgil is a good trainer. But he needs to prove himself with other fighters. So let's see what he can do with Amir Khan, someone who has tremendous natural ability already. Nevertheless, just because America has a great trainer in Virgil Hunter, it doesn't back up the fact up that "America has the best trainers".

Boxnation is a channel dedicated to boxing, I don't know where you got your info from, but you might want trash your source, ESPN and the Spanish stations show more boxing than HBO and Showtime. HW, CW, SMW, MW, And everything below LW is better outside of America. To say you have better trainers is not accurate imo. Good British trainers like Robert McCracken just don't get the same recognition as someone like Freddie Roach, even though Freddie has never made a fighter. Roy Jones Jr claimed that P4P crown by moving up in weight and challenging the champion not calling out a smaller guy to move up weight for you or for a guy to come down weight and to fight you... That isn't the act of a worthy #2 P4P fighter.

Well Tony Thompson is your highest ranked heavyweight and he beanpoled the guy i'd put at like 4-5 of our heavyweights. So I don't see your point. Broner, Canelo aren't in my top 10, nor are they close, and I've never cared to list my #11-15 or 20. Skill; versatility is a main criteria for me and while those two have it, they still have a lot of work to put in.Agreed. Canelo is just now finally facing a top 5 TRUE Jr. MW, and Ward has utterly destroyed the SMW division in it's entirety as well as steamrolled the LHW kingpin (Albeit in his weightclass) and yet you have Canelo on the list but not him? P4P lists are a load of **** generally anyway. The Ring Magazines one is garbage, the criteria is as follows 1. American? 2. Fights on HBO? 3. Is he any good? In that orderI agree with your general point Early, but are you saying you disagree with Ward and JMM being in the top 3? Mayweather I could possibly understand given his activity over the past few years, but given the kind of level Ward and JMM have been operating at lately, it's really hard to debate. On the other hand, I agree with Ring's top 5, but the bottom 5? That's another story. I love Broner, and think he has tremendous prospects, but how can you have him, Pacquiao and Guerrero there but no Mares, Froch, Viloria ETC. It's ludicrous IMO. It's not that I disagree with them being on the list, but when they are on the list and other fighters who are just as if not more deserving of being there aren't, I have to raise my eyebrow just a tad.
