Tons of people post about it and make fun of him, i personally was very upset, and no im not filipino i was actually going for marquez , he seems like a great guy never disrespects people how can you get joy out of it? sure hes not perfect and did some things in his life that most of u would have done if we had that kind of money and fame. I think maybe all the joy and making fun was ment for the pac fans not really for him, i personally felt real bad .
I remember being stunned, I was rooting for Marquez but I had picked Pac to win by TKO so that added to the craziness. I remember being happy but I was immediately concerned for Pac as he was laying there motionless for quite some time. Once he was up the train of thought was back on celebrating Marquez' victory.
Yeah, I think that thought crosses everyone's mind. I just said Pacquaio got DEADED. Nothing more. He was still down I was like "Man he he isn't getting up!" Chuckling about it with semi concern. I just hope NOW that it didn't give him anything serious for brain damage.

Yes, I was celebrating for Marquez more than anything, but seeing him plank like that made me even happier that it wasn't bull**** etc. I guess the thing is, when I'm in the ring I know that the person across from me is trying to take my head off too. I'm a nice, caring guy, but I realize in the ring we're all killers. Make no mistake, don't feel bad, he was trying to do the same thing. If/when I get KO'd in the ring I expect others to feel the same as I did.
precisely my reaction.
I am mexican-american, and like both fighters.
i cant speak for all mexicans, but all of them i talked to felt the same way. They felt happy at first, then realized pac was still right there unconscious, then once they found out he was ok, continued celebrating.
i literally was worried that he died at first(as many were).
My brother on the other hand (i wished I recorded) he spill beer all over him and yield and jump in celebration, that was hilarious, but after Pac woke up smiling i LMAO again.....:D
It was a great moment in boxing, and I was in shock. I loved it when it happened but when I saw Pac down and not moving, I was hoping he would be ok.
I never want to see a fighter seriously hurt.
I never enjoy seeing a fighter out cold like that, although it's super exciting from the moment the punch hits. Boxing is a dangerous sport, these fighters put their life on the line, I hope for the best mental and physical health for all fighters, they are all warriors in my eyes.
I enjoyed it, if I act like if i'm some priest and say I didn't enjoy it, i'd be lying. I jumped up and down in happiness when it happened. I was happy for Marquez, and I was happy that Pacuiao got knocked out. So yeah I enjoyed Pacquiao getting iced.
Same here...:boxing:
As long as no one gets seriously hurt, it is all good.
I have watched Griffith-Parret III, and seen some people hold it in high regard for the brutality even though Parret died after that fight. Or we can go more recent and Delvin Rodriguez-Oscar Diaz which was on ESPN, although Diaz did not die that ending was 100 times more disturbing (and the result much mroe saddening) than what happened in this fight.
Just getting knocked out that is boxing, if that is the worst thing someone sees in boxing count yourself lucky.
I dont enjoy seeing anyone get knocked unconscious like that,at the end of the day these are people and they have families
co-sign. Even though Broner or FLoyds arrogant personality irritates me sometimes I wouldn't enjoy seeing them get knocked out like that but I know alot of haters would
nope. i didn't enjoy seeing one of my favorite fighters getting hurt so badly, even if it was at the hands of a very deserving legend in marquez.
the shock took weeks to wear off. my initial reaction was to be shocked. my secondary reaction was the same. i really couldn't get over it.
I don't enjoy anybody getting knocked out unconscious but it's part of the game, there is no getting away from that.
I may cheer when someone is knocked out, but I'm not cheering because they're hurt, I'm cheering because my fighter has come out on top.
It's quite pathetic that there are people out there who actively hope and wish to see somebody knocked out. Khan receives a lot of this type of abuse as do other popular fighters. It's quite sad really especially when boxers are putting their life on the line for our entertainment. The least they are owed is respect.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and erupt with a laugh no matter how many times I rewatch it
I never saw pacquiao as this innocent ignorant person. He had a part in all the opportunistic matchmaking, constantly fight opponents coming off weesh performances, and robbery in Marquez III.
The bold describes how feel
I don't think I've ever seen a more satisfying match in my entire life, I almost lost my voice and scared the neighbors with all my cheering.
Huge Marquez fan.
Big Pac Man hater.
So yes, I did enjoy watching Pacquiao get put into a mini coma.
When he got knocked out, the first 20 seconds or so i was in disbelief. Then i felt really happy for Marquez, that he finally achived his goal. Then i felt happy to have got to witness such a great and historical fight.
