Last time you could clearly blame the judges, everyone who is not a dickrider or pac hater will say Pac won clearly.
This time around, you cannot blame the judges, they followed what the ref did but bradley got saved because of a poor ref, the 1st round was clearly a knockdown, no body leaning on bradley or anything, his ass was stunned and he dropped as soon as he got up because of how bad he was hurt
You talk about justice being done, bradley should have lost 2 fights in a row, he got his ass whooped last night, who the hell can deny this?
he has ended up on a fcking hospital bed 2 fights in a row getting a needle shoved up his ass
With that said, the guy needs to pick his fights smarter, I know he wants the pay days but everyone knows he is a 140 fighter, the guy is not good enough to make it at 147, he does not have the skills or power to fight at an unnatural weight class to him
Bradley needs to know
get a rematch and win decisively, then move back down to 140
I doubt Bradley would be willing to do an immediate rematch. I was pulling for Ruslan, but his inactivity during the middle rounds cost him. With that said, Bradley who's supposed to be an elite fighter, should have never been in such a dogfight with Ruslan. The guy's not even a top 10 fighter. But to me that shows Bradley has no business at welterweight. He doesn't have enough pop to keep people off him and not good enough defense to avoid taking too much damage. Had Ruslan been as Matthyssee he would have gotten him out of there. And I also think someone like Brandon Rios would beat Bradley. That kid can fight and understands how to cut the ring to benefit his style.
If Bradley rematches, I'll be very impressed. Great fight from both guys.
Sidenote: Doesn't this whole thing seem a bit like Rocky? Rocky (Ruslan) a "club fighter" takes on the champ Apollo (Bradley) and almost beats him. If Bradley rematches him, I'm expecting an upset in the second fight! Ruslan better tell Bradley "Don't duck me son!" :boxing:
It was a great fight, props to Ruslan. I think it was a fight of the year and a rematch would be awesome....do it again, for the critics, the fans, and the sport.
I think bradley is a bit lucky because if this had been a top rank fighter with a name(rios) bradley could have easily lost this fight from it being stopped or on the scorecards. Hes lucky his opponent was a no name fighter. If bradley was dropped two more times I seriously believe he still would have won that fight because of who top rank is trying to make him out to be. Just an opinion.
Everyone is demanding that we praise Bradley but neglect to incorporate the fact he cherrypicked a 140lb fighter (who had never fought a top 15 ranked opponent) to move up a division and Tim still needed a hometown decision to beat this "ESPN level boxer"
Bradley is supposed to be among the "elite" of boxing on a plane far above mere mortals. Hopefully people will give Ruslan credit and realize that just because a guy doesn't have drawing power and hasn't been given an oppertunity before doesnt mean there is a class disparity, it just proves what media attenton can accomplish.
P.S Matthysse beats Bradley.
P.P.S. Reindeer Power!!!
Who the f**k did you want him to fight??? Being with Top Rank vastly limits your options at 140-147 and Marquez/Rios didn't want to fight him.
Lucky???? BS, that was a fighters "will to win" luck is what you might get in the casino. What you saw last night was two men fighting their hearts out, not luck!! Ray.
Ray it is luck when you get a gift of a decision to beat a top fighter (pac)
it is luck when you get a win after a ref missed a kd
either it is luck or a ref cheating to help a fighter win, which is it?
isn't it opinionated then? The people you're calling bias could be telling it like it is like you
they could be, but it is not, I am calling the very low majority out, bradley was seconds at times from being ktfo...
people can say and make believe what they want but bradley got his freaking ass whooped when he tried to go toe to toe with a cherry picked 140 fighter outside of the top 10
bradley got lucky again, and yes it is luck when a ref misses a kd which gets you the win
Lucky???? BS, that was a fighters "will to win" luck is what you might get in the casino. What you saw last night was two men fighting their hearts out, not luck!! Ray.
Agreed,
Even though I think Bradley chose a completely wrong game plan, maybe because of the recent criticism, he's showed once again a great will to win.
Yeah, Bradley stayed on his feet after getting rocked with bombs over and over again because he was 'lucky'. He recovered quickly each time and outboxed the guy for the majority of the fight because he was 'lucky' as well.
Hell, Bradley's exceptional conditioning and physique is probably down to 'luck' too, probably just genetics or some shit. If only we all had that sort of luck, any of us could be a world champion.
Quit the bias when your whole post is full of bias? lol
call is it as bro, what I typed is what happened
being bias is making piss poor excuses to save braldey's 0 when he got his ass beaten for 12 rounds straight
isn't it opinionated then? The people you're calling bias could be telling it like it is like you

Great post even though you're biased towards eastern euros.

bradley was lucky to get the decision, but so would ruslan have been if it went his way instead. it was extremely close and could have went either way.
it feels like ruslan won because when you think back on the fight the big dramatic moments you remember where all his. but bradley had far more moments, they just werent as dramatic and dont stand out in retrospect. but he was actually in control for most of the fight and won most of the rounds.
he racked up enough rounds by outworking and outboxing provodnikov to make it extremely close even with a couple of 10-8 rounds in provodnikovs favor. even though provodnikov had the memorable moments you cant ignore the rest of the fight, you have to score all 12 rounds.
like i said before bradley racked up plenty of them. they werent big and explosive rounds, they were workman like rounds. but they still count.
AY! Don't you dare come in here with all your "truth" and "facts" when trolls and trolling!
I feel like the, "Bradley got lucky" mentality, not just now but especially after the poor decision in the Pacquiao fight, is what made him fight like he did last night. He wanted to give the fans what they wanted- an exciting, all action brawl. He did. Problem is, he hits more like Malinaggi than Gatti, and fought the plain wrong fight for his style. He took lots of punishment, boxed in spots with his jab, and squeaked by on the cards.
He got hit with more than the kitchen sink; Ruslan threw the fridge at him, too. I'm not sure how much last night's punishment is going to effect Tim, but he better not fight like that ever again. A fox isn't a wolf. Bradley is NOT a banger, and while it was exciting, turned a smooth 'W' into almost waking up at the local hospital.
Props to both fighters. Thanks for the fight!
Talking about being Bias, know the actual term. Nobody it seems to show any favoritism toward Bradley, if anything people are showing Respect and Appreciation.
Bradley is the definition of a warrior. To continue the way he did when being hurt in such early rounds when most would curl up in a ball (including yourself). The lack of respect has shown that you yourself are the Bias one.
Go watch MMA if you want to see a ref stop a fight on the first whims of someone getting hurt. This is BOXING, a place where a fighter puts his Name, money, and life on the line.
Nothing but respect for both fighters.
"Quit the Bias folks",
says the Khanite who hates Tim Bradley and has been slagging him off on this forum for time.

Seems to me you need to watch the fight, judging by your sig, you are a deluded poster who think Margarito is not a cheat
Bradley got his ass whooped and got the win because of a ref who missed a kd, that is not bias, that is what happened, deal with it.
