smarter better or whatever, who has it, used it, proven to change styles made the neccessary changes/adjustments to adapt etc..

i'm a Pac fan, but I'd be a fool to say he has better ring IQ than Morales...Lets face it, pac is a relentless, brawling, pressure fighter...he uses angles and comes at you until you submit...if you watch pac/morales 1 you see how Morales has better ring IQ and adjusted to Pac
Morales by far. He had a better ring IQ and he had bigger balls and ego which also were counter productive for him. Paquiao is a better athlete though, no denying that.
Learning to use his right hand doesn't make Pacquiao a genius, most fighters use their weaker hand from the start. Pacquiao rarely makes adjustments to his fighting style, it's pretty much the same everytime and he still hasn't learnt how to cut off the ring. Morales is way ahead in ring IQ as are most world champion level fighters.
It should be Pacquaio. Why? Remember the first fight Pacquaio nonexistent right hand? In the second and third fight, Pacquaio made sure his right hand was like a magnet to Morales face.
Pacquaio ring IQ was underrated and he showed that against Oscar when he boxed and counterpunched him beautifully.
Hahaha oh god thanks for the laugh :lol1:

well i personally felt that Erik was doing more then just holding his own infact i felt he was winning up until the sixth, his legs were basically noodles but i didnt feel it was SO MUCH manny's adjustments as apposed Morales being completly physically out of it, i remember watching the weigh in for that, and Erik looked liked a bag of bones even moreso than he usually does,
manny i felt was losing the fight and the tide did turn THAT much from rounds 6-10 again moreso for Erik having little to no gas tank,
the 3rd encounter was completely unneccessary i felt for Eriks career/Weight at the time

right because we all know Oscar was in his prime and not a dead corpse and the same goes for Morales :nutkick:
OK I love Pacquiao but please show me a fight where he shows that without speed and explosiveness he could be successful? Please tell me a fight where the Pacquiao in the early round is a completely different fighter than the fighter in the later round. I love Pacman but he epitomizes relying on his God given abilities.

Terrible is a smarter fighter than Pac
Pac just had to box more when he moved up in weight
he still relied more on speed than smarts
neither guy has ever been a pure technician who relied on ring IQ
Terrible had a little more versatility to his style though
Morales, more technically sound. Morales relies more on his skill than anything, Pac is more on heart and just freak ability.
did he adjust for the Jones fight when he saw Barrera lose to him?
When they fought closest to both of their primes, Morales controlled range and figured Pacquiao out, then beat him soundly.
Pretty conclusive to me
