The Hyprocrisy of Sanctioning bodies. Bradley stripped but not Floyd?

Floyd Mayweather had such a long lay off, the same if not more than Bradley Pre Cassamayor, yet has not been stripped of his titles. It happens to loads of lower money making fighters too. Yes Boxing is a business, but it is also an art, a sport. The integrity of the sport is lost to casual fans, because of the corruption. I speak to random people and they do say it's a dirty sport on it's best days. They are tired of match fixing etc... Sanctioning bodies are the problem, too many, and all very inconsistent. I may very well start to watch the UFC, and men rolling on the floor soon, since at least they have one belt and look to be fair on who gets shots etc... Not even close, Bradley got stripped of his WBC straps within 6 months. Only reason the WBO is letting him hold onto his belt is potential Pac rematch, Marquez fight or Rios fight. Mayweather won his belt In September of 2011. He will defend his belt in May...2013

Agreed, but stripping the arguably #1 P4P for the past years would be a bit much wouldn't it?

If there was 1 welterweight belt Floyd & Pacman would have already fought. (Well maybe), because neither would be champ with the Punisher at 147,lol!! Nah, they'd be co-champions with the belt being split into two and both of them having build up fights to a potential super fight that'll never happen

Lol, Nah, Pac and Floyd would have acted too small for 147 and waited until Punisher moved up, and then all of a sudden Pac and Floyd would have moved up to 147.

Like I said in another thread, fans don't mind corruption so long as it benefits them It is true a belt is not needed for them, but it's still a trinket. How many times do they say 8 times world champ or whatever? They still like it and use it. I guess my point is, we need one system, one title, one organisation. Fans don't mind corruption aslong as it benefits there favorite fighters... When Pac was robbing Marquez blind Pac fans were happy. When Mayweather is holding on to belts that he shouldn't be, Floyd fans are happy.... When Canelo is cherry picking away, Canelo fans are happy.

But people don't even realize that half of the fan of superstar fighters also support corruption. Floyd's been linked to zylocain, (spell check). Pacman's been linked to (peds). And canelo's been linked to (assaults & blatant cherrypicking).

Well the WBC are notoriously corrupt, along with the WBA. The other two have faults too, but nowhere near as much as the WBC/WBA
