For years The Ghost has earned the right to fight the current champion in his weight class after becoming the mandatory contender. Other big fights were offered but he was ducked for whatever reason.
Juan Manuel Marquez, Amir Khan, Rocky Juarez, Juan Diaz, Chris John are some that come to mind. He had to move up two weight classes to get a big fight and he wins those fights convincingly.
Is Robert Guerrero the most avoided fighter in boxing?
nah, the guy just doesn't cut it at ww. he beat a washed up berto and an untested aydin. that resume doesn't even raise an eyebrow
I like the Pac Gif (ANYTIME,ANYWHERE!) but in small print you should have put (but at a specific weight, not at your strength, and hopefully after a loss)...lol
No way.
Guerrero has no heart. He is a quitter. His personality is absolutely sh*t. His skills are average at best.
The reason why boxers don't wanna fight him is beacuse he brings absolutely no money. Nobody gives a sh*t about him.
Coming from a guy who is eating out with Amir Khan...

Those guys didnt all duck him.
He's got the formula for danger in that he has no name, but he is extremely hungry, rugged, can gameplan at a high level, and can use a variety of styles. Doesn't make a lot of sense for a big name to fight him. I think he has and will continue to be avoided.

What u talking about?? Guerrero still ducking Yordan rematch!!
Chain of command goes through Arum/Roach you do know that right?
Is that supposed to mean something to me? I don't care who the chain of command goes through, the fact remains that Pacquiao isn't the one who said it.
Serious question. How can you respect Manny after he ducked Shane mosley by saying we won't fight him because '' he's to good''?
Most blatant duck.
Freddie Roach told Shane that, not Pacquiao
No not avoided, ex:
1. Casamayor dropped him with a gassed out jab. Lol
2. Salido schooled him. Steroid issue, whatever.
3. Got a gift with Aydin decision.
So umm no, not avoided. Khan, Marquez, Money, Broner, would tap that a$$ any day.
Hard to take this post serious tbh. And I wouldn't be worried about Guerrero being dropped. I'm pretty sure his last 2 fights vs bigger men showed that he got a beard on him. Keep nitpicking tho.
Btw you forgot about his 1 loss. Zzzz :lol1:

I don't think anybody is scared of him it's just that boxing is a business. It's funny a few weeks ago everyone was dissing this guy now because Alexander is mention as an opponent and longer than expected negotions he has become one of the most feared boxers lol
Bob Arum has carefully picked Manny opponents since moving up in weight. I give home credit when he fought at the lower weights but since he moved up nobody he's fought has came off a big win Cotto had a questionable win over Clottey and Margarito was abused by Mosley.
No. Nobody wants to fight him cause a win over the ghost does nothing for ure career. He's not a big name and really doesnt have that marketable look to himself
As much as I would love to see The Ghost get a Big Payday...He doesn't deserve $4 Million (according to reports that is what he is asking for), that would be more then what Mayweather and GBP gave JMM to fight Mayweather as well as Victor Ortiz
he might be worth more then Victor Ortiz now but he is not worth more then JMM
