same reason pac dont like to fight at 154 anymore. even when fighting at 154 he weighs in at 150 i dont see why this is so hard to understand for people its like you wont be happy unless someone has a 20 pound weight advantage on fight night. they said one main reasons contract taking so long is they have a built in agreement that if both canelo and floyd win on may 4th then they will fight in sep
Pac specifically stated he wont be fighting up there after the 150lb catch weight with marg. When did mayweather say he's not fighting at 154lb? The guy fought at 154lb twice. No reason for him to duck the division.
Aside from Berto, the list is all natural 140 pounders. Do yo work for Mayweather or something. Tell him the real money is at middleweight or light middleweight!
Ain't that the truth.
147 is as dead as the HW division, the JWW's stepping up chasing the May/Pac money like the cruisers stepping up to chase the Klit money.
It's fcuking the game up too, because 140 would be electric with all those fighters there.
Anyway, to answer the question, Pacquiao or Bradley.
Clottey is a better fight than Guerrero or Alexander, he would mash both.
Why 147 when he just fought at 154lb. Where's the Carmelo option?

Mayweather sure knows how to get people to talk about him and make himself aware to the public before his fights or just to stay relevant.
lol yes indeed
Truthfully, none of those fights are appealing to me. Them mentioning Alexander now isn't making me want to see a Guerrero fight because it's going to be the same outcome as what I thought before Alexander's name was even mentioned. You can't just put nuts and chocolate over a piece of sh*t and call it a Snickers bar. The problem is a lot of us WILL get sucked into buying whatever PPV he's on as I'm quite sure they'll build the opponent up to be either his toughest challenge or the story of the opponent will attract viewers to yet again hope for the upset.
I stay reserved to buying whatever fights I see worth buying. I bought Mayweather vs Cotto for the sake of it actually being an interesting fight to me, but unless There's a Broner vs Burns and Trout vs Canelo as undercards, count me out of buying whichever fight he gets into based on his current options.
I prefer Tim Bradley,Bradley has the best resume at 147 aside form the juicer and Marquez and the Juicer got KO`ed and Marquez already was school by Floyd so no point in making that fight.
Guerrero is a cheating************* who cheated to beat Berto.I`m sure if Guerrero was black he would have gotten a lot of heat. And yes all i think about is race.
Pull that race card harder

Boxing tends to work that way, as fighters mature they move up until they reach their comfort zone. Remember that Floyd and Manny were 140 pounders at one stage too and they came up from even lower weight divisions.
I voted Guerrero. He is the regular WBC welterweight champ and Floyd is the WBC super champ and he has not defended that tittle since he won it from Ortiz in September 2011. If the fight could be made Bradley would be my next choice and Marquez would be the third pick. Marquez is looking so much better at welterweight now and he is smart enough to makes some changes in a rematch. I am not saying Marquez would win but I think it would be a much closer fight.
I think the most entertaining fight would be with Guerrero, but I wouldn't mind seeing Marquez in there. And that would be just to settle the excuse that he was dominated by Floyd, because of his conditioning.
