I don't care about official scales, unofficial scales.... the dude has made his entire name off of fighting MUCH smaller competition with maybe the exception of Demarco (but not by much).
Take a look at his greatest hits vid on HBO, he's always much bigger than his competition.

Yeah it's true. & His next opponent is like a 5'3 white guy.
Khan, Matthysse, Rios all spark Broner out.
OMG HE'S WHITE? how significant!
.........retard.
Demarco was his first legit opponent size wise but Demarco ain't no beast in any category, he's just "ok". PDL was much smaller than Broner and still caused him a lot of problems.
But how long are we going to talk about that fight? That may not have been very long ago, but it will always be early in his career. He has improved since then, its obvious too. He has to have improved, why don't people understand that. Right now he is not that same fighter. PDL is a pretty good fighter, its not like he got schooled by a nobody. If anything, it was his managements fault for matching Broner with him too soon, rather than Broner failing.
lol the irony of a pacquiao fan complaining about this. he did the exact same thing for a good portion of his career. smh ppl need to do research before opening their mouths.
I'm assuming ur talking PAC post dlh? Because pre dlh PAC proved his worth destroying champions

Yeah, again I thought the fight was pretty easy to score, had PDL winning by a point but one can very easily see that Broner is a much better fighter now, almost night and day. He knows how to fight in the pocket now, defends better, far more accurate with the jab...jus' far more polished now.
Your right, he is improving. Still hasn't done anything to warrant the hype around him right now though, we'll see if he fights someone legit after the midget he's fighting next.
if you dont think hes good you simply dont know boxing, kid. you cant recognize talent when you see it. the thing about 140 shows you really dont understand the sport at all.
so what if hes not successful at 140? hes already a two weight world champion. say he beats ricky burns, that leaves nothing to prove for him as for being the real deal. not that theres anything to prove after demarco but still.
for a 130lber to move up two classes and fail against bigger men in a damn good division doesnt make him a bad fighter. being able to move up another weight and beat guys like matthysse would make broner almost a great fighter, p4p material for sure.
if he fails he isnt, but is everyone outside the p4p list no good? hell no. just because you arent incredible doesnt make you garbage, broner already proved hes a good fighter, deal with it. now it just remains to see how good.
lol at this fcking guy thinking guys have top move up twice to prove themselves, you dont have to move up once. broner did just bcuz 130 was so weak, but he already proved himself at 135 and if he cleans out the division hes proves himself big time. fck 140, who gives a ****?
you are like the clowns who still dont give floyd his props after all these years andf expect him to beat fcking MWs to prove himself. theres always another division to you ppl.
Well said..... Clowns be hating and it's fcking sad. These people actually made a thread about a 23 yr old kid that's already a 2time world champ.
Yeah I agree!!!! I mean hes 23 yrs old already fought for world titles. He's a bum lol. You people need to get a life.haha give this guy a shot. He got his whole career ahead of him. I mean what the hell you do at 23 yrs. old? F...ing morons.

One could easily argue PDL won that fight. I think at 140 amongst guys his own size, Broner becomes a lot more ordinary. We'll have to wait and see, I suppose.
If you make the weight, you make the weight.
Nobody should say ****. You are just looking for something to hate on.
The fight against Eloy Perez was embarrassing, I don't care what anyone says. Complete physical mismatch.
And if you make weight? So you agree the Escobedo incident was a disgrace?
Broner is a very talented young man and may have a bright future in boxing, that said: He has an insufferable **** head, his action vs Escobedo sicken me and I would LOVE to watch him take on the top guys at 140 and get humbled. Probably guys ate 135 who can do it.
His resume consists of two names, two decent names so I don't see the need to even bring up the size advantage, Broner still has a lot of work to do. His win over PDL is questionable, that might be his best win, I personally had PDL winning that, also DeMarco ain't that much smaller than Broner either.

You really don't believe that :drive:
I believe Pac was on PED's back in 2010, because he refused to take a blood test 14 days before the fight. Instead he wanted 24 days to be the cut off. Now all the sudden he will take the test the day of the fight? And he hasn't been looking incredible since 2010. I'll admit Mayweather was at fault for not making the fight after 2010, but it was Pacs fault in 2010.
isnt gavin rees legally declared a midget? broners waiting for the competition at 140 to beat each other to **** before he moves up
That's just stupid.

all these hatin ass fools crack me up. broner is the by far the most skilled boxer out right now.
broner is the future boxing kingpin. keep your hate on cruise control, you got plenty of time lol
That may or may not be true, I'm not hating, just stating facts.
