In case you missed it or want to watch again, here it is.
Lmao @ the guy that was saying that was a dive. Listen to the sound of that punch and the thud as his face smashed the canvas.
Beautiful counter.
Thanks for the green K. That was my impression when I saw the slow mo replay. Maybe because of the way he pulled from that left by Dallas and quickly came back with that short right.
Nah, It wasn't floyd who invented it but he does it with authority and more frequently like it's a second nature to him. We'd be lucky to see Mathysse does it again.
Not a pull counter. You don't slip the jab in a pull counter. Similar, but just a counter right over Dallas' lazy jab. He landed a good one earlier in the round too, so Dallas was thinking too slow about getting his jab back in.
I think he knew just how important it was to win that way.
Not only did he pick up a highlight reel KO, but he made himself known to the fans. If people didn't know him after Soto and Ajose, they'll know him now.

I think you're right, I just didn't expect that. Especially vs someone like Dallas Jr.

No doubt but he wasn't just thanking the boxing gods, he was in tears.

I thought the same thing tbh :)
Kell Brook also likes to use the pull counter, I forget who against but I recall him dropping somebody with it before.

Doesn't sound retarded. Not like Mayweather invented it.

That was a very good punch and very well timed. He caught Dallas at the perfect moment when he had forward momentum and was in no position to ride the punch getting the full force of it + his own momentum.
Exactly...It sort of reminded me of Pacquiao's KO.
You get some funny people on here. If only they had to take some of these punches we wouldn't have those comments
One of the worst places to get hit IMO nevermind at the hands of a certified banger like Lucas. Its always worrying when a fighter falls badly and is out cold like that.
Thankfully he came around quick & is okay.
You can really hear the thud of his face hitting the canvas.
Lucas is a bad motherfucker
Been saying this for a long time. The Undefeated Wartthysse is the real king at 140 pounds. Alexander and Judah don't want that rematch, they know they'd be going to sleep.
This may sound retard but it looks like floyd's pull counter but with more devastating power. Congrats Lucas!
