What a shame, Canelo is fighting a better fighter than Mayweather as an undercard!

I hope they can make this fight, I think trout is going to make me some more money at the bookies... I'd love to see him come in as a decent sized dog in this one. I just can't imagine Trout/Alverez and Mayweather vs Anybody on the same card. Cards of this size usually have a bunch of prospects/contenders vs stiffs/has beens to try to create other stars. Also Trout/Canelo probably cuts into profits too much. You mirin'?

Cos Floyd dont do much and dont fight as much as his peers, people want Floyd to make a statement and fight Sergio at 160, but instead he fights Guerrero? There are a handful or so of fighters who would beat Guerrero, so Floyd beating Guerrero would mean nothing. But having said that, reality is Floyd isnt that great, so i expect Guerrero in reality to test Floyd. If Guerrero ends up not testing Floyd, i will apologize to Floyd and admit Floyd isnt as bad i thought he was and i underestimated Floyd.

But common Mayweather is imo turning a 154 fighter, and if he is fighting Canelo in sept it would make sense to fight a 154 fighter. If May asks for a catch weight or a 154 fight if he fights guerrero what a BS. Mayweather can get anybody he wants they will take short notice or log ones everyone agrees to the kind of money they get with him. As the best fighter out there he could of gotten. Canelo, Martinez (the best one), Lara, Trout, Pacquiao (I know iffy),and GGG All these fighters are more of a threat than guerrero. And yes Im a BIG BIG fan of Guerrero I just call them like I see them.

mayweather fighting an 0-6 fighter should be the main event over anyone lets be realistic

OK but without Mayweather the PPV Event doesn't break 100K...lets not get ridiculous, now Canelo is TRULY Piggy Backing off of Mayweather's Name more then ANYBODY! With really good promotion and a good undercard with good fighters, it could do 300-400k if it was a main event PPV. But true, nowhere near the exposure it would get from the 1mill+ fans that buy Mayweather PPV's.

You guys kill me with this Trout hype. Nobody was saying anything about Trout after he beat Delvin Rodriguez. 6 months ago everybody was on the Lara hype train. Fact is Trout is a good fighter. Theres nothing dynamic about him. Hes not a power puncher. He doesnt have great boxing talent. To me hes a better version of PWill.

Why complain about that? We don't have to see a bunch of crap fights as the main event comes. And it's not like Mayweather-Guerrero is not a main event itself, it's just that Canelo-Trout is also a main event worthy fight. There should be more cards like that, where undercard fights are actually main event worthy and are just as good or even more competitive than the main event.

Trout and Canelo should be the main event, cant wait for this fight! After this fight i probably skip the main event. I'm sure millions will follow
