To be fair, if I had a business and GBP asked me to "open my books" I'd say sure, show me your court order or go kick rocks. LMAO, like GBP has the right to see someone else's finaces or something, lol.:dunce:
That's was requested in order to settle the revenue split for mayweather-pacquiao. I think that's a good enough reason to show official sales. I guess that's how top rank works though, if it isn't required they won't do it. No tests, no numbers, no fight. And then people wonder why we say the stuff that we do.
I always find it funny how the UFC can get away with not releasing their PPV buys and trust the word of a WWE reporter who has no affiliation with the company, while boxing fan's don't trust the word of the promoter himself.
With VERY good reason. LOL

it did 650k........there is no reason to believe arum. gb and team mayweather as asked tr and team pacroid to open their books on multiple occasions yet they refuse and duck eack time, which is typical of team pacroid.....anyone thinks any of his ppv's after the cotto fight did over 1mil is a pac-tard.

Arum said the numbers are looking good and although they are still being tabulated, first estimates are well over 1.6 million. He will release them as soon as all totals are finalized.....he promises.

No reason to believe you.
it did more than 1.15 million buys
HOUSTON -- The fourth fight between Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao generated 1.15 million buys on HBO PPV

Loved how you conveniently left out the best part.
HOUSTON -- The fourth fight between Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao generated about 1.15 million buys on HBO PPV, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum told ESPN.com on Saturday.
Not bad if it hit 1mill, considering many wrote off the fight. With the huge KO upset the 5th would most likely generate even bigger numbers. The fight was back and forth explosive action until the KO, boxing at its best.
3.15 i heard.
that could be for the 5th fight since it is now more anticipated than Pacquiao-Mayweather but that number is way off from what it is in actuality. the only way Mayweather gets another huge payday in PPV #'s is if he takes a risk and fights Sergio Martinez. PPV's sell after their live showing and if Floyd didn't tank in round 8 against Cotto the PPV would have done horribly and Floyd knows that. Martinez would make Floyd work harder than he has ever worked with his tempo and footwork that will make him exhausted for the 1st time. when it comes to action it is as good as it gets with Pacquiao and Marquez but the fans want to see Floyd get tired and dig down deep
