bandwagon you immediately jumped when you first saw them.
A ko, their style etc... What fighter drew your attention for their entire career?
1. Mike McCallum comes to mind for me. I liked Donald Curry, and when Mike landed that infamous left hook, I followed McCallum ever since.
2. Roy Jones in the gold medal fight in '88'. We all know Roy won that fight.
3. Muhammad Ali. I was 4 years old when I first watched boxing and the very first fighter that I ever laid eyes on was Ali.
Prince Naseem He brought something to the game that is still missing within British boxing . His entrances were legendary and he wasn't a bad fighter its disappointing the way it ended though .
36 bouts, one loss. Retired at 28. The most unfulfilled boxing career? The guy had one heck of a punch! Loved his style and flamboyance.
Cotto when he fought Pinto, Pacquiao when he fought Ledwaba, Mayweather when he fought Gatti.
Recently, Matthysse when he fought Judah, Rigo when he fought Casey, and Russell Jr. when he fought Ruiz.
Naseem Hamed, Roy Jones & Mike Tyson were all instant big impact fighters on me. Once I saw them just the once, I wanted to watch them again and again
Of recent times, Margarito because he's as game as humanly possible, how the fock can you not admire that
Rigondeaux & GGG for their talent and natural skills. I can see their flaws, but they had the same effect on my eye the others did and have made me want to tune in for more.
I'm a recent boxing fan these fighters were already major stars when I discovered them:
Juan Manuel Marquez: Great style, flashy combinations, mexican heart mixed with great ring IQ, some says he has a boring personnality I personally think that the way he seems to be dedicated to the sport is really charismatic
Cotto: Great style too, able to advance and destroy or to box more carefully. Has a great jab and left hook, two of my favourite punch. Humble and likeable personnality. A lot of respect.
Bernard Hopkins: Maybe if I had been already a boxing fan in the 90s I would have hate him, but his personnal story is so compelling and his skills and dedication are so huge, I can only have respect for him.
Recent boxer:
Abner Mares: what a warrior! and I think he has underrated boxing abilty too
Santa Cruz: Evrybody who has seen him fight know why
Thomas Dulorme: My disappointment of the year, thought he was ready for the elite level but Abregu did what he did
I also jumped on Cano bandwagon and on Golovkin, who is more likely a future star.
List your fighters mother****er. We don't feel like reading your cry baby criticisms of what other fans have to say. List yours now, cry later, damn!
Easy Now he can't name one cause he's a fake boxing fan his only name will be Mayweather
Here's my List Arron Pryor, Pipino Cueavs, Tommy Hearns, Julian Jackson, Julio Cesar Chavez, Mike Tyson in his prime upset with him on what he did after Cus died, Salvador Sanchez, Ricardo Lopez, Juan Marquez and Rafel, Roberto Duran, Rafel Bazoka Limon, Alex Arguello Dwight Muhamed Qwai because he was 5 foot 6 taking Light heavies to Heavy weights, Kiltschko brothers, Manny Pacquiao Lupe Pintor, Carlos Zarate, Ernie Chavers Felix Trinadad and Delahoya but he tick me off when he became lazy and would tire by round 9 to bad Arriza or Memo Hernandez weren't around back than with their help he Ko's Floyd
Miguel Cotto- dude was a beast I saw him fight before but didn't realize till I saw him fight Margarito, ironically.
Josesito Lopez-Dude has crazy heart. Liked him when I saw him first on ESPN against Mike Dallas Jr.
Oscar De La Hoya- When I was younger we would have gatherings/parties at my house whenever he fought. I actually think De La Hoya-Vargas was the first fight I actually remember watching live.
Jack Johnson - His fight against Philadelphia Jack O'Brien, which i saw live, was an inspiration
Golovkin - Destroyed the best MW in the world in Proksa
Mayweather - Makes lottas $

When I was younger Chavez, Tyson, Roy.
Later Shane, Calderon, Wladimir because of his jab.
I saw Finito fight only a few times when I was younger (it wasnt til the internets I could see more of him) and he always seemed perfect he really stuck with me.
It goes without saying that I was also an enormous Tommy Hearns fan the first time I saw him (not "live" of course that was before my time... Well his hay day)
Trinidad vs Campos I thought Tito was going to kill him. Sweet Pea Whitaker agains't Chavez. He fought the perfect fight and deserve to win that fight he got robbed. I liked his southpaw style and defense he was a head of his time. Israel Vazquez he beat everybody that they put in front of him. The guy didn't wake up until you knocked him down. Then he would get up and say ok I took your best shot now take mine. He would get up regroup and win the fight. The guy had balls the size of Mexico.
