Margarito that fought Pac vs current Mayweather

Cotto was outboxing Marg for 6 rounds with plaster before he gassed. Put Floyd in there with Marg's plastered up and I'll still take Mayweather; he doesn't lose. He may avoid the challenge (Manny) but if he gets in the ring he isn't losing.

How was Manny never the same? Did he break both hands and wrists from beating on Margarito? Floyd would basically shut Tony out.

I never thought Floyd was scared of Margarito back when he was the "the most avoided man in boxing" I think he could of taken him then and taken him now. Margarito without plaster got wrecked by Mosley Floyd would have done the same (except the Ko ofc)

Margarito was relentless when he fought Pac. Some people say Pac was never the same after that fight. How would Mayweather do against that Margarito? Similar to Tyson vs. Foreman

Current Floyd is bigger now than he was a few years ago which would make things tougher for Marg. A few years ago however, Margo would be a huge problem for Floyd.

i see it as floyd vs castillo 1 but clearer victory for tony! Where do you people get this stuff from , Margo needed diuretics to make 150 after his previous fight at 154 after 2 yrs out and being stiffened , he was weakened at the weight then put in a 26 ft ring with 8oz gloves on , how the fck is that on a level with prime LW Castillo , you have no idea what your looking at . If Floyd fought the Margo Manny did he would beat the mortal crap out of weakened sloth probably getting a stoppage late in the fight . When the fight was stopped Cotto had his best round of the fight. So I don't think that Margarito was going to beat Cotto.

mayweather has no power to stop margarito's advance, even if he used another sucker punch, it won't work. no amount of clinching will overcome margarito's superior physical strength. margarito wins it by UD, or even by late stoppage

No, the fight wasn't the same at all. Cotto's face was not falling apart, he actually fought well on the inside & didn't stay trapped against the ropes while absorbing large amounts of punishment. Margaritos only win over a top champion or contender was the Cotto fight, which is highly questional to say the least. Margaritos not an elite fighter. Never beaten an elite fighter. Hes a human punching bag. People always mistake heart for talent.

Even a ten year old could come up with a logical answer for this. If Pacquiao's powerful missiles, and they were many, couldn't make Marg go down what makes you think Floyd's pot shots would? That's why this thing about Arum protecting Manny is baloney. Hope that helps.
