He says more time passed for a rematch of Roy Jones and Hopkins to happen and it still did and that the problem could be the weight since trinidad says he doesnt know if he can go lower than 168.

With these in their backyard I'm fine with.... Anything else hell no
I bet Trinidad could beat Canelo after 4 months of training.
LOL!!..funny but I would give him a shot at KO'ing Canelo..lol..but he would need at least 1 warm up fight..then go right into it..
I think the real question is who wouldnt watch it.
This is the truth. This would get at least 1 million buys. I would definately watch it. Ive never been dissapointed by a Trinidad fight. Minus the Winky fight.
Id watch if the fight was on boxing after dark hahahahaha I wouldn't pay my hard earned money to watch 2 fattys well past their primes to settle an old score . How bout we get them sock 'em rock 'em robots 2/3 winner take all
This is way past its due date. I would have been really interested in this until 2008, maybe 2009. Now it would be almost ridiculous.
Trinidad has always been a people's champion and he knows the fans still miss him. Besides, there is a void after Cotto's fall and the there's the need for a PR star which might make his itch worse. I am one of Trinidad's biggest fans but this fight has no meaning anymore. Both him and Oscar should stay away from the ring unless they are promoters or trainers.
