AMIR KHAN is back in the world title mix after a convincing win here that left him vowing: “I will become a world champion again soon.”
After two career-threatening defeats, Khan managed to KO his doubters with an emphatic win over Carlos Molina.
A new, mature-looking Khan won every single round of a fight that finished at the end of the 10th when Molina’s corner spoke to referee Jack Reiss and called it a day. Click Here To Read More]
I am still trying to figure out why Khans picture is on a tab up top. Guy has done nothing to deserve being up there. Put Donaire, or marquez up there, someone who is actually accomplished.
Who didnt know Khan would beat Molina? He is featherfisted. Anytime Khan steps up to someone with decent power he is going to get knocked out, that is a guarantee. Maidana would have had him but he was too plodding and slow. Khan is the biggest hypejob in boxing right now.
there was nothing new here.
molina wasnt throwing.
what he did actually throw, some shots were getting through.
had that have been garcia in a rematch or maidana or even mallignaggi it would have ended the same way as last time out.
i saw no improvement, as ole freddie boy said..."virgil cant change his character".
lets take a closer look at this for a second, khan is a very quick shooter and mover etc so, it would be near impossible (in only a few months or at all)to adapt serious defensive changes and remain in full control of these changes when fighting at such speed.
habit is very difficult to control when adrenaline is high, mistakes form part of an opponents gameplan.
he is fully aware that every man and his dog knows his chin is weak (nobody more than him or whoever trains him) and when he leaves that dressing room he knows there is always a good chance of getting kod.
he needs to concentrate on not getting hit rather than looking good.
hes not a big puncher and if your not a big puncher then you better have a good defense.
everybody thought he restored credibilty with the battering maidana was giving him in the latter rnds of their bout and coming through...just.
only to be served up well and truly by garcia, and wobbled by a number of other fighters since prescott.
so, he has a weak chin and it will never go away which means its only a matter of time before he gets whacked again.
i say this about wladimir klitchko, he does well to ride the punches and push smaller men around escaping with nothing more than warnings from the ref but,
its just a matter of time.
Are you saying that Wlad's jaw is as glass as Khan's? I believe there is no comparison. Simply because Wlad has had a hell of a lot more fights and also for the fact that Wlad's supposed glass jaw has been blown way out of proportion.
khan has got to be the most arrogant boxer out there today, even more that mayweather. he already lost 2 hi profile fights and he still thinks he's the one to beat, WTF. if it was mayweather who lost, i don't think he still be that egotistic. dude, you beat molina, pipe down already
Love that all the haters are saying Garcia is the top dog in the division and Khan is a shot fighter who doesn't have anything. But Garcia has only beaten Khan? Troll logic

:lol1:
I wonder if they read that to themselves.
gotta respect khan hes got balls
Absolutely.
But that's all I respect
I wish he had beaten Matthysse last night; then I could support his recaptured confidence.
Reality is, he's still at high risk of being KTFO by any decent technical fighter with pop.
LOL I hope he doesn't end up fighting Marquez for the title
He would literally die in the ring
JMM has bigger Fish to Fry....I like Lopez or Garcia, to KO! El CON Job!!!
He was talking trash before the fight, but I'm getting used to that. My issue is that Molina was never meant as a challenge, so much as a confidence building easy win. He needs to fight some bigger names before he toots his own horn so hard, but that's Khan for you.
I don't really take trash talk from boxers serious especially before the fight because most boxers just wanna build hype. But he actually sounds deadass serious with this and with him saying he would drop Danny Garcia if they fought again.
I wanna see Khan win but he needs to come down from the high he got off this win and take in how much work he still needs lol
This dude's confidence has gone through the roof after one win
