I'm gonna give him a C+..He did box effectively but terrible opponent(Molina)and he was still getting hit with some counter shots as well...Those shots by a better puncher would hurt Khan as well...
What's some grades from the fans...
This is part 2..Funny my grade for him is the same,C+..
Again,he was getting caught by the same punch..This time by a better puncher and paid for it..But he did still show very good boxing ability and did fight a bit more smart when hurt..I don't know if he's ready to be in the ring with the upper class right now..But I guess the time is now..
What's some grades??
Have just read the UK Sunday newspapers and also caught up with it on a certain video sharing site a C grade would seem fair.
Many of the old faults were still there and got exposed by a naturally smaller man, fighting away from home and with plenty of hard miles on the clock.
But Amir won the fight and there were times when he boxed really beautifully and the other guy looked leagues beneath him.
One thing that frustrates me about Amir is his lack of concentration in a fight. He seems to switch-off at certain points, completely unnecessarily, and anyone half-decent is able to grab the opportunity to test his chin.
As Khan is a seriously fit guy, I don't think these lapses can be due to him needing to take a breather or being so tired that he loses focus.
There's something else there that needs sorting out by Hunter before Amir starts gunning for Garcia or perhaps takes a look at Brook or Matthyse.
Wasn't Ariza part of his camp for Garcia?
Nah bro,it was the black Brit..Forgot his name right now..But since Khan has left Ariza he has not taken shots well imo..
Nah you reading it more than you should, I gave Khan the same grade that I gave Bradley D+ nothing more nothing less, how is that a dig at you, Khan or Bradley? Am talking about those two performances because they are recently and both high profile fighters who fight in around the same weight and both fighting opponents that isn't that much glamourously. Take a chill pill mate not need to be hurt because I linked Khan's name to Bradley gosh.
So you compare Diaz to Prov??Let's see,one has 8 losses while the other has two(just 1 when Bradley fought him)..You find these opponents to be similar??Wow..Ok bro..
Khan's name should not be linked with Bradley's at this moment in time..Sorry..Makes very lil sense what your talking about..But whatever floats ya boat homie..but between me and you,I know you love Bradley bro..It's cool lol..
I think Khan's bad habits are ingrained..He drops his hands after a combinations..Bad footwork leaning on the ropes etc etc..I think Khan really needs Ariza back..He took shots so much better when he had Ariza in his corner..

I said something hurt me??Your bringing up Bradley in a thread that has nothing to do with him..It's because you love Bradley I guess..LMFAO..

I agree C+ is about right Khans punch tolerance seems to be getting worse not better imo.
There is nothing Virgil Hunter can do to change the fact that he has a glass jaw.

WTF? Make a thread about what? Am giving an honest opinion and how does this hurt you exactly? You really the epitome of a fan boy wow

So go make a thread about it..This has nothing to do with Bradley..Freakin fanboys I swear..

B-
He still has much to improve on. He needs to focus on his errors. He sits in the pocket too long and tries to follow up on combos and it gets him caught.
It all feels a bit like Ricky Hatton changing his style to box from the outside late in his career. Doomed to fail.

C+
I didn't see much improvement. He used his jab more and it was a good jab, his jab for most part was better than I thought it was.
He was still lunging in, throwing arm punches, still had no head movement etc etc
Looked the same Amir Khan except for he'd occasionally back off more. He has no ring IQ what so ever!!
He has blazing handspeed but he just throws aimlessly & pulls his punches. He doesn't try punch threw anything, he simply tries merely touching them.
I felt Molina could of had a lot more success if he wasn't so gunshy and predictable. He was able to get inside, too much for my liking but when he was inside he didn't do sh1t.
Did he throw anything other than the left hook? There was no set up or anything. Gutsy kid but that is all I can say.
I also feel Amir showed he actually has an inside game. He fought well inside at times. He actually threw a lovely combinations & turned his man. Something I haven't seen from him before.
I agree with everything,except Khan showing he had an inside game...He threw a combo inside and turn his man..But for me to say his inside game improved I'd have to see him in with a better fighter then Molina..Who as you said has tons of heart,but overall is just not good at anything imo...Molina got inside on Khan and just did not work at all once he got there,which allowed Khan to tee off on him and turn him...
C+

I think he just looked like Amir Khan to be honest. I wasn't expecting him to look very different and he didn't, although the Showtime analysis might lead you to believe otherwise. He got caught with plenty of shots inside and didn't really show any improved awareness of where danger was coming from when he traded. All that was different was that he backed straight out on occasion. Still bouncing around the place like a six year old on a sugar rush.
hand speed = A-
power = C+
footwork = B-
head movement = C
offense = B+
defense = C+
overall = B
khan throws a lot punches, but mostly arms punches that just wants to touch you up not knock you down. he needs to perfect his winning shot, the right straight sound good for him
