When it comes to body shots Maidana gives as good as he gets. An outmatched opponet, no doubt. But Maidana did exactly what you're supposed to do against such an opponet and delivered the KO. Back in the day guys used to get praised for this sort of thing. (see Mike Tyson's entire career)

Easy work for Maidana. Not much of a fight but I will say that there is visible improvement in his game. He still is fairly slow but I like the head movement which was non-existent prior to training with Garcia. Also noticed that he is now attempting to counter as well. Seen him take a step back here and there to maintain space and counter with the right. Would like to see him in another big fight soon. Wonder if him and Khan will get it on again when Khan moves up.

nah i think maidana can beat guerrero...maidana kind of looked out of shape in this fight imo. i hope maidana vs guerrero happens... He swings too wide, Guerrero would tag him up good and stick him with the straight left. I think Guerrero would win a wide UD over Maidana personally but anything can happen.
