I'm a big fan of both fighters and this is how I have it:
-First fight I have no issue with a draw even though one judge scored the first round wrong. The first round was a 10-6 round and I gave Pac 2 other rounds. Marquez was the dominant boxer that night but the 3 knockdowns put him in quite a hole.
-2nd fight I had Pac winning by 1 point and that was because of the knock down. Very close fight in which I can see if people had it a draw but def not a clear cut win for JMM.
-3rd fight was all Marquez. He landed the cleaner harder more signifigant punches throughout the fight and I had him winning comfortably 8-4.
-4th fight I had Pac up by a round or 2 before he got KTFO.
Win lose or draw this will go down in boxing history as one if not THE greatest rivalries in the sport has ever seen. Right up there with Gatti/Ward.
I: 114:111 Pacquiao, the 3 knockdowns made all the difference
II: 114:113 Pacquiao, again the knockdown made the difference in a very close fight
III: 115:113 Pacquiao, Marquez f'd it up by not doing much in the last rounds, had him two rounds ahead after 8.
IV: 47:46 for Pacquiao at the time of the stoppage and on his way to win the 6th round, before the brilliant counterpunch by Marquez.
A fifth fight is a must, but I can understand if Marquez chooses to retire after all this at the age of 39, but it would be a very unlucky end to the quadrilogy for Pacquiao to get stopped like this...
Manny by 1
JMM by 1
JMM by 4
JMM was down by a round
JMM has been hurt before... IDK why everyone was saying he was about to go... He was making it out of the round which wasn't too crazy in the last 45 seconds... Top cutman and trainer woulda done their job... he was bleeding from his nose in the first fight like crazy and still came back and dominated..
1. Draw
2. Pac
3. Pac
4. Marquez
This is for real. Pac didn't cry when one of the judges admitted he screwed his scorecard in Pac vs JMM 1. He also didn't cry to the river, wear t-shirt, cry to everybody about the day light robbery vs Bradley.
