Neither would ever fight Martinez. I would love to see those fights though

Canelo wanted to fight Cotto, Martinez, or Mayweather on May 4th. Matinez is defending his middleweight tittle against a top contender in April so that fight can't happen. I think both Martinez and Canelo are excellent fighters and if they fought at 154 pounds I would make Canelo the favorite. I think either one of them would defeat Mayweather. All of these fights would be great fights.

Face it folks Serg isnt a 154 lber anymore. All he does is run his mouth. Ill fight this guy, ill fight that guy, ill fight at this weight, i want Pacquiao, i want Mayweather. Blah blah blah. After the Chavez Jr fight he already had a fight date and opponent lined up before he even had his knee surgery. So if he really wanted Floyd he wouldve lobbied for it harder. Hes hiding at 160. Theres much better/tougher matchups at 154. Better opponents with better paydays like Cotto, Kirkland, Perro, and others. I dont see any Hopkins or Haglers at 160 these days. He choose to move up and its his own fault. He struggled at 154 for yrs so now im suspoded to believe he is some killa all of a sudden. GMAFB already.

Aw, totally forgot. But still it could happen if the money is right. But who would you pick in a match? i can see this fight happening but not now. i wanna see Cotto-Canelo first yea cotto is coming off a loss but so is manny from bradley. still a great fight. but mayweather-martinez would be the IT fight for me.

That would be ideal. But, Martinez is fighting Murray in April. If Martinez were to fight Canelo, I'd expect Martinez to win by KO.
