Rios-Alvarado II in March?

i knew arum would protect rios and not match him up against bradley. bradley would clown that living punching bag.

i'm guessing rios is not in marquez plans.So i guess marquez will rematch manny,Fight bradley or retire.

Lets do it. Would love a rematch. I could see Mike winning the second that could lead to a trilogy. If Mike is able to keep Rios at a distance through Jab/Right cross, without allowing Rios to get on the inside then I think he has a good shot. He was having some success landing bombs at mid range. Rios admitted that he was stunned a couple times throughout the fight. If its a replay of the first fight then it will be a good fight, if Alvarado keeps him at distance I think it will still turn out to be an entartaining fight which can go either way. Will Alverado take it to Rios in the rematch as well? If so, I'd like to see it, but I agree with others an immediate rematch is not warranted.

This rematch isn't such a bad decision. It was a close fight, where some people even had Alvarado ahead. And sure it ended with the ref stepping in and stopping the fight early. But it's not as if Rios was dominating the entire fight. Rios was also in danger of losing. I know people are enamored with Rios, but let's not forget that he was given a gift W over Abril. Make Rios earn the road to big fights with a Rios vs Alvarado rematch, this is one fight that will still not disappoint fans if it's made.

I would like to see that fight in March next year. If I were Rios I would be telling Arum I want to fight Marquez next. As much as i like rios, Rios will never stand up to arum, that's the slogan at the rg boxing acadamy "that's not my job, it's up to Cameron and bob"

I'm not interested in a rematch right now. Marquez vs Bradley/Rios...easy fight to make unless Marquez retires.

it was entertaining, but i'm not interested in it. match rios up with another solid 140 lber if no pacquaio or marquez fight is happening. does top rank promote provodnikov? that'd be a good scrap. rios/alvarado II just doesn't do anything, especially since it's an immediate rematch. let alvarado get some wins and build an interest to the rematch if anything.

I think Alverado would try to box more this time around, so I'm not interested in seeing it.

I dont mind a rematch since the first fight was so entertaining but would of preferred a JMM fight instead.
