I never read about Floyd saying he was staying at 154. It is not his proper weight. Oscar would love to have Canelo fight Floyd this May. That is the fight they want.
I think it is possible. I think if Floyd fights again his opponent will be Guerrero and he loves to take attention away from a Pacquiao fight and put it on himself. I think it is quite possible that Floyd is retired. I can't remember when he stayed this quiet so long.
When I hear fights like this, I suddenly remember Douglas/Tyson and Tarver/Jones or even Lewis/Rahman. Listen people, Floyd is good but not invincible, and his time is slowly running out. Every man who steps inside the ring has a "shot" to win; it might be a low probability, but it's still a shot.
I somewhat agree with you. Floyd really started to show his age against Cotto. He was hit way more than ever before and more worryingly he seemed to have lost his mobility. HE simply cannot dart in and out of range and has to stay in the pocket and fight. Although he has an amazing defence, reflexes and good chin. It will only be a matter of time before he gets caught and dropped. maybe The Ghost will be the man to do it?
I think Guerrero will fight Khan (provided he gets past Molina) next, then the winner to fight Mayweather.
GB will hope it will be Khan, as its the last big money fight left for maywether outside of Pac (not gonna happen) Martinez (no chance) Alvarez (GB wont want to cash out on him anytime soon).
The only people who want this fight are floyd fans so he can pad his record and guerrero fans who want to see him get a payday
The rest of the boxing fans know that if this fight is
Made that its a total farce and wont even do 1 million ppvs
Guerrero has less of a fanbase than PaulIe
Your all over the place. Sunday you were all over Guerreros nuts. You just wanna diss Floyd and you dont care how dumb you look. STFU troll. Your husband Manny fights in less than 2 weeks and all you do is talk about Floyd. Go hang out in the Manny threads, if you can find any.
This is a legit fight. Pacquiao is fighting Maruqez for a 4th time, how can that be acceptable???
It's not acceptable, there's hardly any buzz for that fight. But at least Marquez and Pac are equal in terms of skill. Plus a lot of people think that Marquez won the last one, and the one before, and the one before that, so there's unfinished business. Mayweather needs to fight Pac, Canelo, or Martinez or just retire.

no it wouldent, The Ghost earned it.
Who is mayweather gonna fight, Pac is fight marquez and maybe rios next, canelo is fighting cotto/trout next, berto just got the beating of his life and took an L, Martinez is gonna fight murray, Who is their for mayweather to fight LOL.
You say Canelo/Cotto like it's a sure thing. If Mayweather so much as hints at offering Canelo, he'll chase him over Cotto.
Also you forget Mayweather doesn't have to fight if he doesn't want to

Yes because beating Berto is qualification for a fight with Mayweather.
Do you realize the fight will be at 154 lbs.
No........
Where are you getting this info?

Garcia maybe. There's no doubt that Guerrero earned it but who wants to see that fight? Like someone else said, Floyd wins 9 rounds, takes the UD, and then retires for another year and a half? Booooooring.
I'm not talking about viability of the fight, or even quality competition. I'm talking about how sh1t always seems to go down. Al Haymon in Guerrero's dressing room and two days later, they're in negotiations? This fight is coming, whether we like it or not.
