I think he had tunnel vision wanting the Pac fight..... He got it got a W (I don't think he won) and a nice payday but his options seem limited..... GB has everybody around his weight who means anything..... Do you feel for him and his predicament???
No, I'm actually happy for him but I'm not in full agreement with some of his actions. It's best he keeps busy. Who I really sympathize with is Rigondeaux, the top fighters won't even acknowledge him. Someone like Rigondeaux would have been dying to get at a Peterson or Alvarado-caliber opponent.
Bradley pretty much didn't handle the situations properly, it's why he is hated. I think he is trying to be controversial, he tried to play a bad guy thinking he would sell himself like Floyd did, but that isn't his personality.
He doesn't talk trash this is why it's pretty awkward when he does because you know that isn't his nature. He made a mistake also by continuing to talk trash about Pacman over a controversial win, he should have just said I am ready to rematch Pacquiao and kept it at that, it hurt him when he said he had to go look at the tape too post fight.
This is why if you don't know how to play the villian don't even try or you will just fail. I doubt people will order a ppv headlined by Bradley unless it's against a big name like Pacman, Floyd.
i don't really feel sorry for him..don't really care if he retires tomorrow or whatever he does with the rest of his boxing career. there are much better fighters out there to care about...shouldn't waste it on someone like bradley.
I don't feel sorry for him at all. Not one bit.
Compare him to pac for a second. Pac goes into each fight wanting to give the fans a show and because of that he has fans. Bradley goes in not bothered if he stinks the place out and then he expects people to be willing to pay to see him. He refused to fight kahn in what imo would have been a cracker (and still would be) he just held out and held out to get the big fight (and is trying to do the same again) when he got that big fight he proceeded to run away for the night and got clearly beaten. (it was a decent but unexciting and losing performance) he is now sitting around as if he won demanding a fight against a top guy instead of admiting to himself that everybody knows he lost and nobody is interested in paying to see him fight.
He should approach things as if he lost (which he did) and go out there and get a good 'real' win against a solid contender before trying to talk his way into another big fight.
Im not a big fan but I definitely feel sorry for dude.
His claim to fame is a fight most people thought he shoulda lost. The commentators all also have some strange animosity towards dude and made the Pacman fight look like it wasn't close at all. Promoters also seem to not like him either lol dude is world champion right now and can barely get a single fight in. And now mosta the boxing world doesn't really like him either just because he stood up for himself and said what 90% of us woulda most likely said in that situation lol.
Soon as he gets another fight he should start running his mouth more and **** cause with all the people that TRULY don't like him and wanna see him get the loss they think he deserves, it would generate a lotta publicity and this guy could honestly be 100x the heel that Mayweather tries to be
nobody does, fuck him
it would be fine if he didn't act like he actually won
accept the gift, call for a rematch, and leave it at that
but everytime he mentions his "win" he earns more hatred
I don't feel sorry for him, he is demanding that he get quality fights, take a step forward in level of competition, not take easy fights. He is standing up to the "puppet master" when all his other fighters allow themselves to get recycled in fights that no one cares to see.
The fights he is wiling to accept are without a doubt fan-friendly fights against the best competition available.....he is being his own man when others are simply "yes men".
I wish him well in securing a great fight but I don't feel sorry for him, I don't think he feels sorry for himself either - he is just telling it like it is.
How realistic is it that he gets any of the GB guys he has mentioned though??? What/Who do you think his next step/opponent will be???
