Manny-Jmm 3-sure Jmm looked better then we expected but Manny was in the fight the entire time and did out fight Jmm in the championship rounds, close fight no robbery
Castillo-Floyd-Floyd put in a lot of early rounds and put it the championship rounds, close fight no robbery
Leonard-Hagler-Hagler did not let his hands go enough and Leonard tho his flurries may not have been game changing blows they were point scorers, close fight no robbery
Calzaghe-Hopkins-Hopkins gassed out after winning the early rounds and was outworked by Joe,colse fight no robbery
please add more fellas
Disagree with Manny vs Marquez 3, I felt Marquez comfortably won and it wasn't particular close personally.
exactly
why dont one of you cunts show me the 7 rd's marquez won "clearly"
for that fight to be considered a robbery
that would be alot easier than showing you 5 rounds pac clearly won against Marquez in the third fight
let alone 7 rounds for pac
the marquez-pacquiao series. each one of those fight were close but pacquiao won each one, just looking at the compubox tells it all
Compubox is a testament to how people will believe anything if it's presented in statistical form.
An utterly useless feature of network fight coverage.
robbery is defo an overused term, there have been a few lately but most of what are called robberies are close decisions
^^^This.
A robbery to me is a fight where a guy that clearly wins 8 rounds without a shadow of a doubt loses.
why dont one of you cunts show me the 7 rd's marquez won "clearly"

Someons butt hole is swollen and red....lmao here ya go:bottle:
If any fight was "clearly" there would be no controversy...duh

Compubox ? really?...my goodness if compubox was the deciding factor in fights it would just create more controversy.......you want compubox numbers ....look at Bradley vs Pac and see if you really agree with "compubox"....no way Bradley was hit that much,,no way
1-Your a Pinoy 2-from the Philippines3-you have three avi's of Pac....im thinking a bit bias...
i disagree with JMM-pac 3 and Joe-Hopkins those were both blatant ass robberies.
but other fights where ppl need to chill on that robbery word is
bradley vs pac (bradley outboxed manny and easily took 7 or 8 rounds, manny didnt do anything)
ponce vs broner (was a sloppy and somewhat close fight but it had a real clear winner unless u hate broner and wanted him to lose)
judah vs maytthsye (judah outboxed lucas and deserved the win)
JLC vs floyd 1 (JLC was fighting an injured floyd and still did fuk all in the late rounds)
You are the worst poster on here.

i do agree on these
Broner - Quintero - close fight but broner edged it, no robbery.
Sven Ottke's fights with Mitchell & Brewer are still called robberies but were very close fights, & the two I scored for myself I had Ottke winning. Boring fighter but he was very hard to hit cleanly & had good timing. The Reid bout was a robbery, but the referee probably more to blame than the judges.
Sergio Martinez's bout with Kermit Cintron - heard over & over about how big a robbery it was - finally downloaded & watched it & wondered what the hell everyone was going on about. Martinez had all sorts of problems getting his timing down against Cintron but might of pulled it out in the late rounds - but had no problems with a draw. Not a good performance from Martinez, & I'm a bit of a fan of his.

Think a lot of how various fights get mythologized into blatant robberies is due to HBO riding some fighter they're promoting, or some 'story' they are selling.
I'm gonna go with Alexander-Mattyhsse.
I scored the fight 5-5 with Mattyhsse winning by 1 point because of the KD. I didn't see the robbery everyone else was talking about. After the knockdown I expected Mattyhsse to dominate the rest of the fight, but I ended up givinng Alexander round 5... and 2 of the last 3 rounds.
I agree on both points. That was an all out battle Martinez took his share of licks in that fight and got dropped. Glancing head shot or not Paul rocked him a few times in that fight and he got rocked himself which made it such a great fight.
I think people were just shocked at how well Martinez did that they refuse to acknowledge that Paul had his fair share of moments in that fight.
Williams dug it out in the championship rounds for me, he was worth a draw at least. It was a tremendous fight. Both guys were exhausted and showed serious heart down the stretch. One of those fights where both guys enhance their reputation.
Clottey was up going into the 9th or 10th I believe. Then he just stopped punching :dunno:
It was close, but it was one of those fights where I wouldn't get mad if people felt Clottey won and I wouldn't get mad if they felt Cotto won.
Your probably right. I'll have to see that one again. I just remember thinking Clottey won on the cards, but they could justify it enough to give it to Cotto. I didn't feel like "Oh hell no!, they did it again!". I don't like Clottey's shady looking face anyways. LOL.
