Sorry, I meant to say Erislandy Lara, not just Erislandy, my bad.
Are you for real, frustrated?
Yep. Not even a discussion. At the beginning he's doing alright, but after that he seems as if he feels out of control. Brad is walking him down with a smile the entire time putting on pressure and multiple combinations. He taps his head after the bell rings each round, almost to say, "Your doing good kiddo" Thats what I got. And Lara cant handle pressure. When he throws combos it doesnt seem like it feels right. He seems out of control when he tries to return fire.
Dude it was relatively light sparring, neither landed much, because they weren't really fighting each other, they were just going throw the motions and getting in some good competitive work. Lara landed solid single shots, and Solomon did good work on the inside with combinations to the body.
Lara looked frustrated and shocked that someone was THAT much better than him. Solomon was BUSTING HIS ASS.
damn, solomon barely landed, lara school him for 5 rounds, i think he's gonna be too much for vanes
Solomon was laughing while Lara was frustrated. Lara has never in his life dealt with someone who was better than him, so stop lying.

I saw it, Solomon BUSTED that ass!!!
WTF happened to Solomon, havnt seen him fight forever.
Promotional issues, but I think it's all sorted out and he signed with Prince... I think, I know for sure he signed with a new manager/promoter.
Solomon is a stylistic nightmare for anyone, given his unorthodox style, movement and speed. Even though he's not that great on the outside offensively, he's very good at doing the subtle things and little feints to keep you occupied enough until he feels like getting in close and going to work again.
This is exactly why I've stated in other threads that he would be a problem for Mayweather if they fought... it would never happen, but at '47 or '54, Solomon can beat almost anyone. Same with Lara at '54. Both guys are talented.
Tough sparring, Soloman better on the inside and Lara better on the outside. Lara doesn't and won't do well against a guy that can trap him on the ropes, he needs space to work.
I thought Lara did fairly well on the inside/ropes. A lot of those punches from Solomon landed on the elbows and arms.
Agreed. The one good thing for Lara when he's on the inside, is that he knows how to effectively clinch his way out, and he also has gotten a lot better at defending himself on the inside as well.

I still can't believe Solomon got dropped in his last fight against a journeyman, because Solomon is a good fighter.
He clinched Williams beautifully every time on the inside and I was also impressed by his inside work vs Hernandez. And thanks for the video.

Wow, two of the best sparring.
