alexander vs lucas wasn't close at all. don't give alexander any credibility by saying it was close. judah fight was sorta close on the cards but still impossible that zab won. You get what I mean, I know Matthysse won both fights, but to a lot of people on here the fights could have gone either way. Lucas is a warrior who isn't a phony like some others I won't name. I think Lucas vs Swift would be a great fight, both have a chin and both throw shots like they mean it. Matthysse deserves the hype he is getting, steps up to everyone and doesn't duck. He is exciting and Danny Garcia is a good style for him, since he stays in the pocket and has more warrior blood in him. This is a fantasy fight and I get the feeling it won't happen. It seems promoters aren't willing to give true fans the fights that we want the most.

Boxing Scene ranks Matthyse as the #3 challenger for Garcia's tittle. They have Peterson at #1 and Marquez at #2.

They care enough to make Matthysse/Maidana or Matthysse/Rios, but not Garcia/Matthysse. That would require more sacrifice. Matthysse and Lara aren't #1 priority to GBP, Garcia and Canelo are. This right here. Golden Boy don't give a damn about Matthysse or Lara. They willing to Matthysse in there with Rios because they basically look at it as they have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.

You have a right to your opinion but you should know you are one of the only boxing fans in the world that does not think Matthyse earned a tittle shot at Garcia or any other 140 lb champ that will fight him. Most fans thought he deserved to win the fights Judah and Alexander and a poll would show that. He just KOed Soto who was ranked in the top 10 for the WBC 140 lb. tittle. What Soto used to fight at does not matter. When Lucas beat him he was a high rated 140 lb. contender. Ring magazine has Matthyse as the #1 contender for Garcia's 140 lb. tittle, ********* has him at #4, Boxrec has him at #6 and I am sure Boxing Scene has him highly rated as well. I think he deserves all the hype he is getting and if Garcia ever fights him I'll bet a few hundred bucks on Matthyse to win. That's my betting limit and I only bet that much when I am pretty sure who will win.

1) I couldn't tell you. It's easy to avoid/not make a fight with Ajose cause he wasn't getting US TV exposure. A guy like Matthysse is kinda hard to ignore. It will only be a matter of time before people start DEMANDING this fight (Garcia vs Matthysse). 2) I couldn't really tell you how GBP feels about Matthysse or what their plans are. But I wouldn't say they don't care about him. A perfect example of GBP not caring about a fighter is Lara. GBP has done a better job promoting Matthysse than Lara. FAR better job.
