If Canelo Alvarez had fought

Ortiz would have got massacred Kirkland would get easily outboxed, but he'd bring Canelo to the trenches, and we don't have a real way to gauge Canelo in the trenches Williams would have been a great fight... A toss up, just depends on how hard Williams can hit him, and how well Canelo could take it... Other's he'd win by a split decision Perfect answer!

To be honest...he probably beats all 3 but that is not saying much because lets be honest all 3 was coming off of Loses or did not look all that great during their previous fight which is why Canelo was ready to sneak in their and try to get wins over them Why he did not fight Trout, Lara or Molina? All 3 Was Available When he Pick Lopez as his next opponent...JUST SAYING!

Why does everyone say Ortiz is above Kirkland? At Jr Middleweight?? Ortiz has been a world champ while Kirkland got ko'd by a journeyman

I don't think that's out of the question, Williams's output alone would keep him in the fight I was never so pumped to hear the Alvarez vs Williams fight. such a shame what happened to paul. it would have been a great fight to see and paul may be paralyzed for the rest of his life (according to him he still has a chance)

Canelo's chin hasn't been tested. Skill wise where he is now he should had been favored against all but Williams. Such a shame that the circumstances didn't allow a Williams/Alvarez fight cause that would had said a lot of Canelo

still be undefeated. kirkland and ortiz would have been cake. he probably stops both of them. harder fight would be williams but he'd still get a late stoppage I am a Canelo fan and I have faith in his ability even though he has yet to fight the best 154 pounders. I also think he would KO all three of these guys with Ortiz and Kirkland being easy wins and Williams being a harder fight. Lopez said Canelo was much better than Ortiz in every way. He fought them both, back to back.

He probably beats all 3 Ortiz would fold, Williams was figured out and Kirkland, i mean we've seen what pillow handed Ishida did to him :lol1: He was figured out against movers but Canelo is not a mover. Beating Williams without moving would be a very difficult thing to do.

I've never trusted Canelo's stamina.... Williams might have worn him out and won a decision. Canelo is neither a supremely gifted counter puncher, slick, OR a southpaw... Dont know why people act like Canelo is exactly the kind of fighter that has beat Williams. Williams practically walked through everyone else... Williams loses to arguably the top p4p fighter in Martinez and also a guy most people think beats Canelo...and Canelo somehow just suddenly stops him? Based off what? Josesito Lopez? Lol I'm a huge Canelo fan but that fight was a toss up. I think he stops Kirkland, dont trust Kirkland's recklessness and Ortiz gets hit too much, though Im curious to see how he handled it.. Ortiz has quite the chin and has pop with some speed. Canelo is the favorite only because its at 154, but itd be a fairish fight

kirkland got scared of canelo. I think Kirkland just wanted to be 100% for that fight. Lets see how things play out in 2013. They might fight then.

I think Alverez beats them all, but I think those fights would have been tough.

Canelo/Ortiz- Action packed during the first few rounds, with Ortiz landing good shots, but the weight plays a huge factor. Canelo wears Ortiz down and possibly stops him late in a somewhat competitive fight. Kirkland/Canelo - An injury free Kirkland with Anne Wolfe brings it early and keeps it late. Canelo gets hit with shots he's never felt and gets hit hard. He lands plenty of combinations during this bout, but the risks he takes would be his downfall because during the exchanges is where he gets hurt and stopped. Kirkland TKO 5. Canelo/Williams - Good step up in competition, but Williams was 1 fight removed from being asked to retire (i.e Lara-Williams). Pretty good fight. Whoever wins this fight wins by SD. kirkland got scared of canelo.

alvarez would be far too accurate for williams, though i agree with everybody who says that he'd be the toughest fight. that man is very tall and he had a great chin. a southpaw, too. very unique fighter. kirkland's handspeed might give canelo some problems as well, but he's too crude and he's chinny. ortiz would be the easiest. he's a sitting duck for a right hand. he always has been. canelo would tee off on him.
