What happens if Marquez beats Pacquiao officially?

There is simply no way it will happen. Eventually age affects all men and Marquez is now 40 years and he's a natural featherweight fighting at 147. One of these fights, I still think his last Pac fight was the last hurrah for him, he will get caught and his age will stop him having the ability and recuperative powers to get up and keep going. It happens to everyone. It literally is the one thing that cannot be escaped. Pac is 33, Marquez is 40. At 147 that is seriously ancient. He won't have gotten quicker, stronger, faster, smarter, and his reflexes won't be better. In fact, everything I just listed will be weaker and slower whereas for Pac it will all still be the same. Especially because of the controversial decision against Pac in his last fight, Arum can now go back to making sure Pac gets the decision and people won't be as annoyed. Honestly though, this is one fight too much, after one year too many, for Marquez.

Win or lose Marquez should move down to 140lb and clean the decision out. Feel that he is capable of collecting Ws against most of the big names.

Marquez VS Pac 5th at 150. Pac will continue to push the fight at the higher weight as he has until he finally gets enough weight advantage to win.

Probably a 5th fight. I hope not, though. If Marquez wins the 4th fight clearly he'd have won the last 2 fights with him clearly.
