Miguel Angel Cotto...
a serious boxer not a clown like some others also a man that always puts his family first plus he represents my flag...
my ATF is Felix "Tito" Trinidad...
Miguel Cotto
His demeanor, his no BS attitude in and out of the ring, is beast!..He's never been in a dull fight in my opinion..
I would have never guessed
Has been Mayweather Jr for a while now, but Andre Ward is slowing taking over as Floyd's career winds down. Love the skill that both fighters possess and display each time they fight.
Active prob between Andy Lee,Demarco and Hasegawa.Ill pick Hozumi though blistering combinations, good power, nice footwork and incredible heart.Seems like a really good guy too from his in ring actions and helping his mother out financially before she died from cancer
In this era:
1. Manny Pacquiao: Great, exciting fighter. Ali made me notice boxing, but Manny made me a fight fan. I like he's just like me, there aren't many great Southeast Asian athletes out there. Plus he seems like a nice guy.
2. Juan Manuel Marquez: Perfect blend of technical brilliance and Mexican warrior heart.
3. Miguel Cotto: I like his style of an intelligent pressure fighter. I like his personality too, quiet but confident.
Sergio Martinez, I first became a fan years ago seeing him get robbed of a victory in the Cintron fight- fast forward a couple of years and it's just amazing to see his come up to the top.
Floyd Mayweather, when he was young he always exhibited a quiet confidence in his abilities, I heard him once say in a promo for the zab judah fight something like "I'm not trying to be ****y, I'm just telling the truth" when talking about his talent. fast forward a couple of years and he became kind of a douche but i can't hate on him for it- he's making a crap ton of money for it so good for him
Manny pacquiao, this dude fought everyone, the last few years have been sketchy but honestly every fighter that makes it to the top the hard way deserves respect- Manny is great.
Juan Manuel Marquez- this guy has fought for so long under the shadows of his countrymen morales & barrera, and was honestly never really noticed and appreciated by his people the way he should have been until the 3rd pacquiao fight, supremely talented- heart of a Lion, great guy.
Frankie Gomez- haven't seen much of this dude lately but I still remember him trying to convince my brother to go on early morning runs with him lol he's a chill dude.
Easy; Sugar Ray Robinson!! The most complete fighter/boxer ever!! Can out box a slugger and knock out the boxer! Power in both hands and all the punches are at his call!! Was clean and smooth as Pep and then can turn into Dempsey and move in for the stopage!!
No favorites today, hopefully a few of the young guys coming up can lift the sport up and help return it to be a favorite for all sports fans to follow.
As for now the only young man who acts and speaks like a man is Andre Ward, he seems to conduct himself like an adult who has pride and respect for himself and others! Ray.
I can't pretend I particularly like Paulie Malignaggi, but I'd have to be a liar to say he doesn't seem to be a good person.
I used to islike him. He won my respect in the Miguel Cotto fight and since then, hearing him commentate (did a great job) and just his views on things i think he is a real cool guy, i like him!
Right now active? Miguel Cotto, he's just a class act and a real fighters fighter. High skilled Warrior.
All Time? Mike Tyson. He got me into boxing and was as ferocious a fighter as u will ever see, pure excitement.

"On August 16, 2008, a young man named Ronnie Vargas was shot to death. Vargas was a promising young fighter; a three-time New York Golden Gloves champion with an 8-and-0 professional record.
Four days later, Paulie visited the Ortiz Funeral Home in the Bronx (where the family was sitting) and gave his IBF championship belt to Vargas’s father so Ronnie could be buried as a champion. "

I say this hesitantly, because my favorite fighters tend to do stupid stuff when I become a fan, but Andre Ward is my favorite right now.
It was Pac, but he lost me the last couple of years, though I'm still a fan. It would be Bradley if he hadn't ducked Khan.

i've always liked paulie if he had a little more power imagine the things he could of done.
my favourite fighter is probably mclellan or james toney both were fun to watch
The man in my av.
He's simply a tremendous fighter. Everything I love about the sport, he has it. Skill, frightening speed, power, grit, a real fighting mentality. He doesn't do a lot of talking, he doesn;t get much media attention....he just goes out and dominates anyone put in front of him.
