Leo santa cruz would destroy rigo

Santa Cruz is a hell of a fighter and it would be a great fight but I think Rigo takes it. He looks his best against aggressive fighters.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, kid. Amazing how you call Rigo "overrated," but you have no problem saying he needs to "beware" of a guy just moving up to 122. Nice avatar and Gio from Hialeah, nobody can beat that.... All bets are off once you get hit real hard on the liver or you get counter by a real hard left hand right on the chin, you will stop your output just like marroquin did and the kid can bang and was bigger than Guillermo, he, Santa, will not look the same against Rigondeaux that I'm 100% sure, I don't know what ppl are on GR case, he could not be 100% ready for the fight no matter what they were saying, he was in court 3 days before the fight in Miami a 3 hours difference, still he threw a shutout put the kid twice on the mat and won easy, bring him on and he will get schooled.

Oh how u guys love to over hype pressure fighters. I'll never get it, its a very limited style and there hasn't been a great pressure fighter in quite some time. Santa Cruz is cool but. Beat Rigondeaux? Yea, no. Take it from me, there's probably no harder style to overcome than a great pressure fighter who bangs to the body. Of course you have to have a great chin and great stamina and Santa Cruz seems to have that.

I've heard this kinda stuff time and time. A highly skilled boxer will always beat a pressure fighter. Esp if the gap in experience is so wide. I mean live watching boxing since I was a brat and pressure fighters get a lot of hype and praise but its one of the most beatable styles. The truth is the truth. Man, there are hundreds of examples in boxing history of this simply being untrue.

Sure a facr forward no defense fighter is easy. Santa cruz gots the goods. Rigos chin is suspect though. Santa cruz just isnt a Come forward pressure fighter. The dude has some Mad skill. I can see him hurting Rigo to the body . He has mad skill the way Margarito had mad skill. Its not mad skill. Eric Morales has mad skill. We'll see tho. Not saying I don't appreciate the kids game. I just don't think I'll be picking him over any top 5 122 lber anytime soon. Too much of a skill/experience gap

Accurate pressure is actually how you beat Rigondeaux. That style always wilts under pressure. Santa cruz doesnt just throw wild punches hes pretty accurate that what makes him dangerous. I really like Santa Cruz, he is a real fighter, but nobody can beat Rigondeaux at 122. I think he will drop his 0 way past his prime, but for now El Chacal is untouchable.

Well Leo is Mexican, and fights like one. His time will come. He has that going for him. As far as someone else mentioning theyd like to see them fight others I wouldnt. I'm not sure Mares beats either Donaire or Rigo or Nishioka... By them two fighting we have a better idea of each and gets them a leg up as well and makes the fight more appealing. Leo needs more exposure to his own people. Mares helps with that.

It's a big jump from Morel to Rigo. That left to the body by Santa Cruz, is an invitation for a straight right. Morel is kind of used up, he fought in spurts, moved as much as he could and quit. That doesn't sound like anything that Rigo might do. That and the fact that Morel is a blown up flyweight on the back end of his career.

santa cruz looks like a mini margarito in his prime. Someone else has noticed, thought I was going crazy for a minute. But of course I deplore Margarito for being a cheat. Lets hope Santa Cruz can actually be what we thought Margarito was.

I dunno but Leo vs Mares would be a war. imho, santa cruz>mares. man, i was impressed with that kid. so glad he's moving up to 122 as well. so many good match ups. not sure who would win between rigondeaux and santa cruz, but hopefully they're both willing to face each other. i could see those two being avoided by the bigger names in the division (donaire and mares) due to promoters and financial reasons. we'll see what happens though.

HAHAHA Not even going to waste my time going back and forth on this one...MAKE IT HAPPEN and let us see how things play out in the RING...fans thoughts and opinions won't mean anything once those fighters are face to face in that ring together His fans are talking tough but Santa Cruz people around him are not going to put him in with Rigondeaux anytime soon
